  • "Lovely property with all of the facilities that we needed."

Very clean. Good to meet and talk to Brychan (stones of great interest to us all). Other locals were very friendly. Facilities were good for our dog with the enclosed garden, and field behind. Pleasant local walks and within driving distance of lots of other attractions. With a good standard of modernisation it was warm with plenty of hot water and a good heating system. Internet connection good. Would have no hesitation in coming back again, or recommending to others.

Thank you very much for the great review. Was a pleasure hosting and meeting you. Property Owner

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tan-y-Capel."

The location is idyllic, peaceful and quiet. A lovely place to stay to de-stress and get away from the hum drum of life. Tan-y-Capel is a lovely cottage - very clean, well equipped and comfortable. It has a large tiered secure garden which offers a safe environment for your dog to wander/explore freely. There is the added bonus of a lovely walk through the fields and woodland direct from the rear of the property. Diolch yn fawr Brychan am y croeso ar sgwrs hir phan cwrddo'n ni a chi. • "We had a lovely stay here and would highly recommend Tan Y Capel."

The property was spotless and the most well equipped cottage we have stayed in. The host was very friendly and welcoming. The garden is also lovely, which my children and dog enjoyed. The cottage is perfect for a family break. It is also in a beautiful area with walks right out the door. We travelled round, but it's an ideal location with so many lovely places just a short, scenic drive away. We like to go to different places but won't hesitate to return here again in the future.

Hello Thank you so much for the great review and thank you so much also for leaving the cottage spotless clean. You’re welcome back anytime. Brychan Property Owner

Plentiful supply of logs for the woodburner, which was great in the cooler evenings. Well placed in that we were easily able to travel and visit a lot of places. Good local walks, and many tea rooms with lots of good cake.

  • "Had a fabulous stay at Tan Y Capel, everything you need for a very comfortable holiday."

The cottage was clean and spacious. Our host left us some Welsh cakes and milk which was very welcome and he even called round to see us after we arrived. Close to Aberdovey which has a lovely beach where we took our dog, other beaches not far away too, plus woodland walks which we loved. Lots of places to visit, we stayed for 2 weeks and didn’t run out of things to do even in wet weather. Would highly recommend Tan Y Capel for a holiday.

We had organised a Morrisons delivery before we left which arrived with no problems and by a really friendly driver. The owner of the property Brychan popped by to meet us and as he’s local, he’s on hand for any issues. Would definitely recommend and will return to the lovely property.
