"A beautiful cottage with every amenity and so tastefully decorated."
We were unable to accept owners cakes as my husband has a gluten intolerance but Eleri kindly provided a range of gluten free products in their place. The position of the cottage was perfect, peaceful with walks from the door to the mountains and so close to the glorious beaches. would definitely recommend.

"A great location for getting out and about but equally good if you just want to sit and relax, the garden is quite private for sitting out, either at the front or at the side under the tree."
The waterfalls are very close, within walking distance through the campsite and a good way to see the views and get some fresh air.

"What a wonderful cottage!"
Full of character but also had enough modern touches to make our stay very comfortable. Location was perfect for the waterfall walk, mountain hikes and trips to the beautiful local beaches.
-
"Wonderful location clean and comfortable."
Good base to get out and about. Owners friendly and helpful. Homemade cakes on arrival nice touch. Victoria Inn was in our opinion the best place to eat locally. Waterfalls and woodland walk on the doorstep worth a visit. We also went to Shell Island, Harlech Castle , town and beach, Betws y Coed, Llanberis and climbed Snowdon, Barmouth and Portmerium.(woodland walk and beach were nice, the village was disappointing)

"We had a wonderful weeks stay at the cottage and planning to head back soon."
The cottage is immaculately clean, well stocked and exactly as advertised. It was the perfect base to explore from and the owner was very friendly and a joy to deal with. Would highly recommend this property as it's in a beautiful location and is everything you could ever want.

Very very quiet and access to loads of walkways. Comfortable cosy rooms and beds and kitchen. Many thanks to the owners for everything.

"Lovely cosy cottage in stunning location with lots of walks nearby from mountains to beaches and everything in between."
Pictures do not do it justice, will definitely go back.

"We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage."
The homemade cakes were a lovely touch and the cottage itself had been finished to a really high standard. Perfect location too and we wouldn't hesitate to return.
-
"Super cakes and a few other basics greeted us on arrival."
Lovely quality fixtures and fittings, and very clean. Spacious cottage located in a great rural area with mountains at the rear of the property and a distant sea view just down the road. Ideally located for many of the attractions of Snowdonia.

"We desperately needed a break away as a family following a tough year due to bereavement."
A break is definitely what we got, thanks to this beautiful cottage. We are very grateful to have found somewhere that was so wonderful . The scenery on our doorstep was breathtaking, the cottage was incredibly comfortable and very well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed having sheep as our neighbours for a week. We all thought the cupcakes and jelly babies were delicious Thank you for helping to put us back together with your beautiful cottage .

"The cottage was really lovely with very good facilities and everything had been thought of including a welcome pack on arrival."
The kitchen was well appointed, the bathroom light and spacious and we made use of the outside seating areas that looked out onto the wonderful scenery. I could not fault it.

"Beautiful cottage."
Furnished to a high standard but still had a homely feel. Warm welcome of cakes was much appreciated after a long drive. Cottage is in a great location to explore the surrounding areas. We had a great stay, thank you.

"Excellent cottage."
Well looked after and great location.

"Absolutely loved the cottage and setting, the decor was beautiful and the furnishings were comfy."
The garden was lovely and we spent many evenings sitting out enjoying the sunshine and using the fire pit. The feedback I would give is that having just one bathroom and no separate toilet wasn’t always sufficient for a family of 4. If you were to consider a downstairs toilet extension I’m sure this would enhance the stay. Also I know it’s a working farm and the sheep are free roaming, but there was sheep poo everywhere, a consideration to having the parking area fenced off so that the sheep couldn’t enter would help.

"We thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing 6 days in this beautiful, well equipped, comfortable cottage."
The decor and attention to detail is outstanding. A quiet setting, as long as you like sheep! Thank you
-
"Amazing cottage which I would highly recommend."
Clean and decorated to high standard. Beds too comfortable that you didn't want to get out

"In 50 years of holidays we have never returned to the same place."
I.e. same accommodation until now. We were here last year. Enough said

"Cefn Uchaf Cottage surpassed all expectations."
The attention to detail was very much appreciated, the table laid for dinner and the amazing home-made butterfly cakes. Cefn Uchaf is a homely cottage set in the most glorious landscape on a tiny mountain road leading to nowhere in particular. It is beautifully decorated to the highest standard and was extremely comfortable. The luxurious bedding and quality beds made for a good night’s sleep and the spacious bathroom was ample for us three girls, meeting for the first time since covid. I had chosen this cottage for our annual walking holiday as I had been keen to explore the Rhiniog mountain range which is off the beaten track. Walking through Drws Ardudwy on the first day to the sound-track of a cuckoo was a dream come true as was the walk along the Roman Steps the following day (two cars needed for that as we set off from Cwm Bychan and walked back through Drws Ardudwy into Cwm Nantcol). We stopped off to see the famous Salem chapel and painting and explored the gurgling river and waterfalls after dinner. We are keen to return and feel very blessed to have been able to stay in this wonderful part of Wales. Diolch Eleri. Thank you Eleri for a wonderful wonderful stay.

"Really great cottage in a stunning area presented very well."
Eleri was very welcoming and responsive (helped us with adjusting the heating). We’ve stayed before and had an equally relaxing and enjoyable week this time. Thankyou
-

"Absolutely brilliant, best one yet."
-
"A fantastic cottage in an amazing countryside position with wonderful views."
Our hosts were most welcoming. The standard of the property was very high and everything we required was to hand. Great location for visiting Barmouth, Snowdon National Park, various slate mines and Mach Loop for plane spotters. The weather was exceptional with lots of sunshine all week.
-
"We have just returned from a weeks stay at the cottage."
The cottage is set in beautiful location and has everything needed. Lots of beautiful walks from the doorstep and not far from Barmouth beach. The cakes on arrival were amazing and the beds are very comfy. I would highly recommend this cottage.

"Just returned from a 2-week break at Cefn Uchaf Cottage."
What a glorious cottage in a spectacular setting. The cottage was immaculately presented, comfortable and the home baked 'welcome' muffins from Eleri were amazing. We will be back!
-
"Beautiful cottage in stunning location."
We loved our holiday and will book again.
-
"Remote place."
Good for us. Great walking area with many great sights especially by the waterfall. A well equipped and comfortable cottage with a warm welcome. Looks small but its spacious Likely to return for a family holiday
-
"A lovely cottage in a beautiful location."
The only sounds were of the natural variety including sheep, lambs, buzzards and the odd drumming of a woodpecker. Lots of walks straight from the door, and beautiful beaches close by makes this an ideal location for all tastes. The cottage was clean and comfortable, and the bed was one of the best we have slept in! Lovely homemade cakes on arrival and made to feel welcome with a visit from our host when we arrived. We would definitely recommend this cottage for anybody wanting a peaceful holiday in the countryside.
-
"Superb cottage with everything we needed for a restful (and covid safe) recharge."
Absolutely stunning area, loved cycling the quiet lanes including a ride to Harlech. The Mawddach trail was great as was the trail in Coed y Brenin. We’ve walked Snowdonia several times in the past but never stayed in this area- we will be back! Thanks also for the beautiful cakes, they were very welcome!
-
"It was our second visit to the cottage and we were not disappointed."
We were met by the owners shortly after arriving who are lovely people and helped to make our holiday a very enjoyable one. The cottage is set in beautiful countryside with some lovely walks right on your doorstep. A great place to relax and unwind. The homemade cup cakes were exceptional as well!!
-
"The photos don’t do justice to this property and make it look smaller than it is plus it has a washing machine which isn’t listed on the details."
.. the cottage is in a very beautiful peaceful setting and the owners made us feel very welcome.
-
"A great week in a very well kept cottage in a beautiful part of the world."
-
"We have just spent a relaxing week in this lovely cottage."
The cottage is beautiful and really tastefully decorated. The views are unbelievable.

"A beautiful cottage and the welcome from the owner was extra special with a cake and new years card on arrival."
-
"Lovely very well maintained property."
Great location. Lovely hosts. Will definitely use again next year hopefully!
-
"Spotlessly clean on arrival, very comfy bed."
The surrounding area of the cottage is stunning. It’s right in the hills with waterfalls and streams around it. You wake up in the morning to blissful peace with only the sound of the stream below. It’s in a great location to get to nearby sites and there are many restaurants less than 5 miles away. We would love to go back.
-
"The cottage is a beautiful place, nestling on a small hill side above the waterfalls, truly an awe inspiring place."
The hosts made us feel very welcome, and what can you say about those awesome cupcakes upon arrival... the best ever! We had the week touring North Wales from here, which was easy, many castles visited, Anglessey and a host of beaches. Were hoping to be back some time next year.. is that positive feedback enough!
