"We had a lovely holiday here."
The accommodation is fantastic. Hot tub was wonderful, the garden is beautiful. No complaints at all. The only suggestion I would have would be to put a hand rail the other side of the staircase and one on the steps down to the bathroom. Thanks for a lovely time!

"We as a family of 5 + a 3 yr old spent a delightful week at Penuwch Fach in July/August 2024."
We were attending an interment and celebration of life nearby so the location was perfect. We were met by the owner and there was a welcome wine/biscuits plus tea and coffee. There is a Nespresso Gusto machine too plus a few pods :). The farmhouse had generous sized bedrooms and two living spaces as well as the very well equiped kitchen diner. There was a travel cot and high chair available too (bring your own bedding for the travel bed). Outside there is a BBQ and seating area and a very large hot tub which was checked daily. My grandson loved the pebbles!! To the front there is additional seating, a picnic area and a sloped lawn. I would highly recommend staying here.

This is probably the best cottage we have stayed in. It's very well equipped and clean. The owner was friendly and welcoming. The hot tub was fantastic. I would recommend it very highly. We are looking to book again for next year.

Fantastic cottage . Will be back

"A wonderful place to stay!"
The house was a delight and so beautifully warm. We’ll definitely be back. The linen, fixtures and fittings were of very high quality. Just one tiny gripe - we “oldies” could have done with some hand rails on the steps down into the bathrooms. A washing-up bowl for the sink would have been good. Unfortunately we didn’t have a chance to use the hot tub.

"Thank you so much for a lovely holiday, we couldn't have wished for more, we all thoroughly enjoyed it and the hot tub was a bonus!"

"Clean and tidy, nice area lovely place to stay"

"Had a loverly time at this property."
It was as advertised and well maintained. We found the main bedroom mattress a bit uncomfortable but all the other rooms were fine. And the 9am departure a bit of a rush in the morning. Most places I've stayed have been 10am. But this is stated in the booking . But all in all a cracking place to stay.
Thank you for your feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed your stay with us at Penuwch Fach. I’m sorry that you found the bed uncomfortable, We had new mattresses on order but unfortunately they have arrived after your stay. We appreciate that the 9am check out is early this was put in place during Covid however as things are getting back to normal we will be returning to our 10 am check out as of next month. I sincerely hope that you will come and visit us again. Property Owner

"This was a perfect house for our family holiday."
Remote enough for us to enjoy peace and quite but close enough to places of interest to explore. The house was clean, spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. PERFECT !

"Had a wonderful stay at Penuwch Fach which is in a lovely rural and quiet location!"
It had beautiful valley views from the back garden and a great hot tub/spa in the front which was always checked every morning and the property itself was really clean. Short drives of around 5 to 15 minutes from key locations like Aberystywth and Devils Bridge. My only small recommendation would be nice to have some clothes hooks in the bathrooms but that is only a minor improvement. Owners had great communication and always happy to help. Couldnt recommend it enough, excellent place to stay!

Immaculately clean and furnished to the highest quality. The kitchen was well equipped. Plenty of hot water and efficient heating system. The farmhouse is located in an idyllic setting with lovely views of the hills. Completely enclosed courtyard with bbq and hot tub. The owners were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Well located for trips to Aberystwyth, Borth and Aberaearon. We would definitely return.

"The farmhouse is beautiful and quiet."
We stayed in the farmhouse over Christmas and it had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped to cater for the 6 of us, especially on Christmas Day. It was exceptionally clean too and the host made sure that our stay was as it should checking in on us a couple times and was always a phonecall away if we needed her.

"Amazing cottage, so clean and welcoming couldn’t of asked for anything else."
We went as family for a long weekend away the eldest being mid 70’s and the youngest 16 and we all enjoyed it as much as each other. So much to see and do in the local areas, and beautiful scenery. We definitely needed more time to explore some more. We would definitely recommend this cottage, I would like to visit in the summer (and maybe the snow) Highly recommended fabulous cottage. "Penuwch Fach is an ideal family holiday retreat."
The accommodation is first class, spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Fixtures and furnishings are of a very high standard. We are a family covering 3 generations and we all loved the holiday, the hot tub went down a treat either at the start or end of very busy days. The farmhouse is in a beautiful rural location and whilst remote it is very well situated for visits to Aberystwyth, Devils Bridge, Mwnt Beach, New Quay and Cardigan, to be able to visit such beautiful countryside as well as quaint seaside resorts is an added bonus. The owners are to be congratulated and thanked for keeping this property to such a high standard. We would love to come back in the future

"My family and I stayed the week for my sons graduation."
The cottage was beautiful, clean and spacious with two living rooms and four bedrooms, two of which, had a large ensuite. The hot tub and bbq were a nice extra. The views and peacefulness contributed to making this a special holiday for us all. I saw from the reviews that many had returned for a second time and after staying, I can see why.
