The beds are comfortable and everything is perfectly clean. We loved admiring the beautiful scenery from the hot tub. It is also in a convenient position to enjoy day trips out to the seaside and a variety of activities.

Beautiful scenery. Quiet. Fantastic hot tub. Decent pub round the corner. It was exactly as described and as it looked in photos. Cant wait to return.

"I thought our overall stay was absolutely great."
The pictures of the properties are very accurate. Super spacious and bright with a lovely view. Pristine cleanliness and the welcome hamper was a sweet gesture. There are two reasons why this wasn’t a 5-star stay and that’s due to the hot tub being broken and being told two days prior that it wouldn’t be usable. We were kindly given some money back but the hot tub was a huge selling point for us. The second reason was down to the smaller details. I consider myself a seasoned traveller and there are a few items I would expect at a property such as: soap / some sort of shower gel. Corkscrew for the kitchen. More toilet roll as 2 rolls (one for each toilet) isn’t enough. Lastly, some sort of explanation as to where I might find the key box. I received a text well before we checked in stating the code, but no further instruction on where to find the key. I say this solely because we arrived after 5pm (check-in time) and it’s now pitch black at that time so it took a while to find it. Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay and would be back in a heartbeat as long as the hot tub was in action!

"Ash Lodge is an amazing escape in a perfect location surrounded by spectacular views."
The lodge is spacious and immaculately decorated/furnished. The hot tub was the cherry on the cake. We have had a fantastic time, just wish we could have stayed longer.

"It was an absolute delight to stay at Ash Lodge."
It was well equipped and beautifully clean. The views were fabulous, especially when enjoyed from the hot tub. The owners were helpful and friendly. We loved every minute.
-
"The lodge is so lovely, very homely and great views!"
! Easy access to many places Just 2 things that could be improved where possible; The shower pressure wasn’t great and the second bed wasn’t comfy at all. Apart from that this lodge is perfect
-
"Excellent lodge, fantastic views over the valley, very clean and tidy and a great location for exploring mid Wales."
Just a few points to note. Need to be aware of the close proximity to the main road and vehicle noise. Would benefit from better outside furniture, possibly sun loungers. A music system would have been useful. Note cracked tiled floor in the en suite bathroom. Having made these comments they didn’t spoil our holiday and are only meant as advice for improvement.
-
"The most gorgeous break away."
Loved the cottage we stayed at. Really clean and well equipped. There isn’t a lot in the town next to it so would advise go shopping before hand. Nice little walk though to the town where there is a little pub.
-
"We had a fantastic week."
The lodge looks brand new, very clean and comfortable. Easy to sleep well. The hot tub was a great thing to comeback to after a day out. I didn't realize they drain and refill it between guests so it's very also clean. Great views. Have already recommended it to friends.
