"Lovely house with fantastic views."
Best equipped holiday home I've ever stayed in, and spotlessly clean, even the tops of the doors. Nothing to fault it.
Thank you for your lovely comments, much appreciated. Property Owner

"Our 2nd visit due to Covid or it would be more!"
An outstandingly comfortable and well equipped cottage with fantastic views from every window of great Mid Wales scenery. Plus a delightful friendly owner who is always near to help! We will be returning again shortly and it is great value for money too! Highly recommended

"Very well equipped bungalow in a fantastic location, stunning views from every window."

"The house is comfortable and very well equipped."
There is everything you need and the owner is very friendly, she gave us wine chocolates and lovely fresh flowers to welcome us. The town isn't very far away and there's plenty of independent shops, bars and restaurants. With country walks and wonderful views round every corner it's a good place to relax and unwind.

"The position of the cottage was amazing with stunning views from nearly every aspect."
Margaret was a delightful lady and very welcoming and helpful. We loved the local town and explored further afield. Our only comment would be that the cottage itself could do with some updating to furnishings, however that did nit impact on the enjoyment of our holiday at all.

"Fantastic Bungalow in a quiet area."
This is an ideal quiet holiday accommodation , clean , well equipped and the hosts are very kind and helpful.Road to bungalow is very narrow and you have to be very careful .

"A warm welcome on arrival by the owner Margaret."
She gave us a gift of wine and chocolates. A lovely clean bungalow. The freezer was far too small for a family of five though and the pizzas we got on the first night with our shopping from Tesco delivery had to be eaten as there was no room in the freezer. Also a wastepaper bin in each bedroom would have been handy. Yes the roads are windy and a little scary but it's the locals who drive too fast! And you cannot have beautiful scenery in the country without the country roads. The Spar in the village is pricey but the co-op in the next road to them is more reasonable but I would recommend getting your main shop delivered ready for when you arrive. All in all, a lovely holiday with the added bonus of great weather.

"A warm welcome from Margaret when we arrived at the property ."
With a bottle of wine and chocolates to help us to enjoy our break. Beautiful cottage with a fantastic country scene at every window. The cottage was very clean and tidy and well equipped . Luxury really. The roads next to the cottage were a little bit narrow especially when we met the big timber lorries, but we managed to avoid any unexpected problems. The surrounding country scenes were fantastic, Wales is a beautiful country with better maintained roads than England. We really enjoyed our stay at Drainbyrion Farm House

"Could do with some coat hooks in the bathroom"

"This is a very luxurious and very private, delightful bungalow."
It is spacious and in delightful surroundings. We know the area very well and it is in a wonderful and convenient position. There is a view from just about every single window! I would describe it as more like living in someone’s home than in a holiday rental! It very well equipped - like a real home would be. As it was October it was also very warm and cosy! The weather shall we say was typically Welsh!!! - but we had a great time. I hope we can return again soon. I recommend it 100%!

"The bungalow was immaculate and spacious."
Magnificent views from any aspect was a bonus. Well positioned, only 2 miles from a town centre with most amenities. Friendly owner who was most accommodating. The only negative was the weather and the owner and Sykes can't be held responsible for that. Will be using Sykes again next year.

"Fantastic cottage."
Well equipped and spotlessly clean. Beautiful panoramic views all around the cottage. lovely quiet location. The owner Margaret was really nice and very helpful. The bottle of wine and chocolates that greeted us on arrival was a nice surprise and went down a treat. Would very much like to go again if we get the chance.

"We felt that the pictures published did not do justice to the bungalow that we considered to be better than displayed in your published literature."
Perhaps in a way this is good, as our first impression on arrival was more than we had anticipated from the advertising photos. I am happy for my comments to be published or simply considered by yourselves as something you could improve upon. I have ticked "Yes" to enable you to decide.

"This is a beautiful cottage in a beautiful location."
The photographs on the site are accurate but the reality is much better. When we arrived my Mum announced she never wanted to leave. The views from the windows are breathtaking, you see new things each time you look out. My Dad was sorry that it didn't get cold enough for him to try the wood burner !!! We had a lovely welcome from Mr & Mrs Williams and the little touches like flowers, the chocolates, tea, coffee and milk were lovely. We will definitely return in 2017.
