  • "We arrived on Bank Holiday Monday for 4 nights."

The lodge was perfect for what we wanted, nice and clean throughout and even a little welcome basket on the table and stocked with all the essentials for a brew once we'd unpacked. The hot tub was up to temperature already which was great as we couldn't wait to get in. Lovely peaceful site as well and well signposted on the way in. The bed mattresses not the comfiest in the world but we both slept very well on them and a few of the blackout blinds had broken pull down strings but didn't affect the use of them. Overall a hugely enjoyable break away and would definitely return in the future

We only contacted the owners a couple of times but were always available to help. The location is idilic and so peaceful, was a great base to go exploring. The accommodation itself is very well equipped and had everything we needed. The hot tub is a fabulous bonus and we will definately recommend.
