  • "Really enjoyed our stay here."

It was just what we as a family wanted after a busy last few months. We had 2 full days here, one of which was spent exploring the surrounding areas and the other spent lazing around doing nothing but sit in the hot tub and playing games. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

  • "A wonderful place to stay, the facilities were good, nice showers."

The toilets were clean enough, nothing to dry your hands, but good washing area in the toilets. The tent was very comfortable, our grandson loved every minute. Plenty to do in the area. There was a lot of flies but it's on a working farm, with lots of sheep so that's what you expect. The most beautiful views, if a clear night you see lots of stars. We had a issue with the hot tub on arrival, we called the number provided, a very nice man came straight away and sorted the problem quickly. I would love to come back and may try a pod next time. Thank you

  • "Property was beautiful , well maintained and very clean."

A suggestion would be to add lights into the bedrooms and one in the living room wasn’t working but other than that our stay was lovely. We stayed for new years so the weather wasn’t great but the tent was sturdy and very warm and the hot tub and fire place was a perfect little added extra to our stay! We will definitely be returning in the summer!

  • "The location of the site was absolutely beautiful and the instructions for finding the accommodation easy to follow."

The surrounding area is also beautiful, with lots to do and see! We went mid April and it was fantastic to see all of the lambs out! Unfortunately our accomodation, 'The Otter' had not been properly cleaned however. On arrival, we found that the rug in the main dining area had not been hoovered at all, toe nail clippings were found on the sofa and when we pulled the rug out, we found old food and card games left from previous guests. We tried to call the number provided for the hosts, however we could not get through. On the second night, two of our party woke up to droplets on their head and whilst we can appreciate that this is a tent, it may be something to consider if you have children staying on the top bunk in the bedroom. The pots, pans and utensils provided were not cleaned properly and the communal bathing areas could have been cleaner. Despite the above, the location is fantastic, the hot tub wonderful and the site itself great. Unfortunately, we won't be staying again due to the cleanliness, however we may have been unlucky!
