• "The Studio is delightful, and a very cosy base for adventures out and about."

  Superbly equipped kitchen. Very nice shower. Lovely garden. A quiet and relaxing spot. The owners are really friendly and helpful, very welcoming. Parking was a problem, very tight on the drive. I don't think the fan in the bathroom is powerful enough, it took several hours to clear steam after a shower. There are also small mould patches by the windows, another sign of inadequate ventilation. (The Studio is north-facing, and it was too cold to open windows the week I was there.)

  The studio is immaculate and very well maintained. The standard of cleanliness is at the highest end of what we would wish for, and the furnishings and equipment are of a high standard. We like the comfortable king-size bed. We can't fault Plum Hill and hope to come again.

• "This was our second stay at Plum Hill and it was every bit as good as it was the first time."

  As before it was spotless and very warm and comfortable, with everything we needed for a self-catering holiday. The new super-size bed was a bonus. The wine, flowers and even some fruit from the garden were much appreciated. We are already planning our next visit!

  Nicely located. Lovely peaceful walks through fields and country lanes. Catherine and Bryan couldn't have been more helpful. Flowers on the table and bottle of wine in the fridge was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend this as a base for visiting surrounding areas.

• "Excellent studio with all requirements catered for, best equipped kitchen, very comfy bed."

  An obvious house conversion that has made clever use of every available space, well done owners. Think the owners may have been on holiday, sadly did not get to meet them. It rained - unable to use the pretty garden. If I could make a suggestion , we have an electric car and a house charge point would be an advantage in the future for many people. However there are at present charge points situated at Morrisons Supermarket , although it has to be said, not the most attractive places to spend an hour. Thank you Plum Hill for making our stay a happy one with thoughts to return.

  Plum Hill studio is well appointed part of a larger property, very spacious, extremely well equipped and very friendly owners who live in the main part of the property. Fresh flowers and a nice bottle of wine as a welcoming gift. Would highly recommend this to any couple visting.

  The owner welcomed us and pointed us in the right direction to visit great places. There was a nice folder with information about the history of the area, and other helpful information. I was impressed with the separate kitchen. We had all we could think of. It was nice to come home in this cosy place after a day out walking and exploring the area.

  Everything in living and sleeping are as well as kitchen was of absolutely excellent and top quality. Better than one would expect in a holiday property. Beautifully decorated and excellent and appropriate pictures etc. on the walls. The bed was incredible; must be double King Size! Had really dead sleep. Location perfect too. Have already recommended to friends. Lovely owners, so friendly and considerate. The wine and chocolates a very nice touch. Would like to return sometime.

  Bryan and Catherine excellent host leaving us a few added bonuses. Such a lovely gesture and much appreciated. Location ideal for visiting Shropshire, North & mid Wales. The studio is warm and comfortable with all mod cons you would need and finished to a great standard. Off road parking is great ( important to me due to limited mobility). Sharing the hall is no problem at all. Would highly recommend Plum Hill studio and will revisit in the future.

  We had a lovely break in Shropshire, travelling further afield and enjoying our time in Plumhill Studio. Our hosts were most helpful and courteous, even leaving some lovely welcome gifts for us. We would definitely recommend Sykes Cottages to others !

• "It was not clear from your listing that the cottage had a walk-in wardrobe that provided ample hanging space for clothes and storage space for luggage."

  The equipment in the cottage was excellent quality and easy to use. We especially appreciated the dish washer, television, radio and induction hob. The King size bed was also much appreciated. The weather was excellent for our holiday, but the fact that the parking space was so close to the door would make this accommodation very convenient in wet weather. The owners were very helpful and welcoming.

• "We were really comfortable in this studio apartment, warm, cosy and nicely decorated with all the mod cons to make our stay as comfortable as possible."

  Nicely located in a quiet area with a 20 minute walk to Oswestry where all amenities were located. The owner showed considerable concern for us when the power was lost to the area due to rain with him keeping us updated on the progress and brought down hot water for a drink and biscuits. We would certainly stay in the studio again if we were in the area.
