  • "The dishwasher was out of order, the fridge looked like it had been found in a skip ( rusty dented door) The noise from the hot tub pump made it hard to sleep in the bed."

The listing made it look like the Pod was in the middle of a field and not next to the office building. On the plus side, nice hot water, Good bathroom. Clean.

Dishwasher was out of order, mattress needs replacing or a mattress topper at the very least. Sofa only reclined on the left, I think a two seat recliner would be much better, it could be facing the view and tv

. rusty fridge door not a pretty site.. recliner couch broken on one side .. toilet door could do with a lock as it doesn’t shut properly.. gap in the front doors maybe an issue in the winter.. shower head leaks and no correspondence with anyone even though I sent a txt message about the couch.. there are a lot of flies but not a lot anyone can do about that . I feel it is a lovely property in a beautiful area just needs a bit of attention.

Mirror needs to be over sink in bathroom not behind you .toilet seat very loose .don't think should have to pay for logs for fire pit as cost is high enough to cover that .no doors would fit in catch when closed .

  • "The accommodation was truly outstanding."

The extra packages available were a lovely touch, and easy to order more during the stay. All information that we needed was clear and easy accessible. For during and after our stay, with flyers of local sights and activities including numbers for taxi firm, dentist and doctors. The guestbook was great to have around with previous holiday makers and their recommendations on things to do and places to eat. Very easy to find. Views were spectacular, hot tub was amazing (especially under the starry sky). Everything was spotless and had good basic amenities available. Only thing I'd love to have seen is some more comfortable outdoor seating to relax in. Bench had seen better days and firepit was a bit unsteady but still usable. Other than that I really couldn't fault our stay here, and I have no doubt in my mind that we will be back as soon as we can!

One thing that lets the place down is the fact the little faults mentioned by many guests haven’t been addressed. Also I appreciate they are doing work to improve the site but it does make it difficult to relax with all the noise from the builders etc.

  • "Overall a lovely relaxing girls trip."

Star gazing in the hot tub was by far our favorite part of the trip. Comfy bed and more spacious than we anticipated. I got lost finding the location for ages, as there are no signs of the main road to indicate where to turn in to the location, and phone signal was bad so it was hard to contact the owners. On arrival the owner spotted me and directed me to the right place (not very friendly at all.) Both the clock and the blinds were broken, little things that didnt impact our stay however a little more attention to detail for the price was expected. The views are incredibly and a really stunning village however we had lots of uncomfortable moments with the locals, possibly because of our ethnicity. For this reason we wouldn't return

The log cabin was spotlessly clean and had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. Beautiful views over the Welsh valleys on a morning whilst watching the Red Kite Birds fly over was breathtaking. The addition of the hot tub was a real treat after a long day out in the sun. Couple of pointers to note though; the doorway would benefit from a fly screen, due to the location on a farm they were to be expected but we were over run by them! The sofa bed used as a sofa was extremely uncomfortable too, there had clearly been issues with it as a large rip was photographed by a staff member. These are however minor issues and the little extras were highly appreciated. We hope to return in the future

  • "Lovely little cabin in rural Wales."

What the pictures don’t show is that they are currently developing the site and building several other lodges, so the view is slightly ruined by diggers and the peace and quiet disrupted from 8am during the week by the men and machinery. Also means that you can’t really use the hot tub during the daytime as it overlooks the building site (and the builders)! The hot water was also hit and miss. Despite this though it really is a lovely cabin in a beautiful spot. The sister cabin (Valley View) is slightly further away from the building work and the hot tub less in view so I would book that one rather than Meadow View.
