"The cottage was lovely, comfortable, cosy, warm and well equipped."
It was great that we had a field for our dog to run around in. The hot tub was a luxury. Beds comfortable and kitchen well equipped. The owners were attentive, helpful and friendly. Very many thanks!
So glad you enjoyed and continue the knee rehab! Property Owner

"Property was very nice inside."
Beds fairly comfortable. Having two smart TVs with Netflix was a bonus. The hot tub was bliss. If you had any problems Tom, Margaret, Stefan and Rosie were on hand to help. Our car broke down and their help was invaluable.
-
"An absolutely peaceful location."
The house itself is very good as are the facilities. The hot tub was lovely. On a clear night just great for star gazing and de-stressing.

"We had a fabulous stay but would have liked another set of towels."
Perhaps two for using when using the jacuzzi. Otherwise fantastic.

"Amazing cottage!"
The most relaxing break - secluded with beautiful views! Only one other property in sight over the fields. Sheep and lambs come close to the property which is lovely! Baby gates were so handy to keep our doggo downstairs and in the kitchen.. driveway gates and fences keep pets on the property! Well equipped cottage with all the essentials (tea, coffee, sugar, foil, washing up liquid etc) Smart TV downstairs and in one of the bedrooms. Cannot find fault - we’ve booked again!

"Ty gwyn was a perfect getaway for the family and willow the dog."
The property was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable star. The log fire, the hot tub and the views made it a perfect weekend for us.

"We absolutely loved our recent stay, it's a beautiful and cosey home in a stunning countryside setting."
The hot tub is the perfect addition for a relaxing stay especially if you don't fancy venturing out. The baby gate was very handy in keeping our dog downstairs. Thanks again for a lovely stay!

"This property was beautiful upon arrival!"
Very spacious inside with comfort. Loved the scenery the property is located at and very peaceful.
-
"Loved our week stay."
Easily felt at home. Beautiful views, fantastic hot tub and a log burner for cosy evenings. Spacious kitchen, the 2 double rooms are good sizes and plenty of parking. Really appreciated the hot tub being checked regularly during our stay to keep it clean at all times. Suggestions for improvements: better/bigger sofa for comfortable evenings, second night light around the patio garden (easier to take the dog out), small clotheshorse for swimwear/towels after the being in the hot tub would be useful, and better cooking knifes.

"We had a wonderful stay at Ty Gwyn."
The cottage is absolutely immaculate, well kept and has everything you need for a short break away. Set in a beautiful rural location but not too far from local amenities should you need them. Thank you.

"10/10 holiday home!"
The property is so beautiful, we absolutely loved staying there and the location is perfect for those wanting to be surrounded by wildlife in the countryside. The house was a short drive from many beautiful walks and a few small towns which are perfect to explore. We were also impressed with how friendly the owners are, there was communication from the night we arrived, making it clear they were only a text/call away if we had any issues. The holiday was absolutely perfect and would 100% recommend.

About the location
LLANFAIR CAEREINION
Welshpool 8 miles.
The town of Llanfair Caereinion is built upon the site of an old Roman fort, in the valley of the River Banwy. It is a thriving town built around The Church of St Mary, with a Post Office, two supermarkets, and a selection of three different pubs. The annual Llanfair Caereinion Carnival is very popular with locals, and proceeds through the town with a full parade of floats and dancing troupes, providing a Rio carnival atmosphere. There is a river walk along the banks of the Banwy leading to an Arboretum, containing over 25 different species of British trees, an ideal place to explore before stepping back in time and jumping on the start of the narrow gauge heritage steam railway that runs 8.5 miles west to Welshpool. Welshpool nestles into the upper reaches of the picturesque Severn Valley near the border between Wales and England. This bustling market town is surrounded by rolling hills and glorious unspoilt countryside. There's a unique blend of shops offering arts & crafts, fashion & leisure, fresh produce, and quality pubs and restaurants, as well as the town centre’s restored cock fighting pit and interesting Heritage Trail.
