The property

Heron's Retreat is a luxurious glamping tent settled in a peaceful spot just outside the town of Llandysul, Mid Wales.

With beautiful furnishings, a woodburning stove and splendid countryside views, Herons' retreat is ideal for both families and friends seeking an adventure.

On arrival, locate the off-road parking space before climbing onto the decked area; here you can savour a cup of tea in the morning sunshine.

Draw back the tent to reveal the studio-style set up, with an armchair and sofa bed to unwind with a good book and a woodburning stove to heat the kettle.

In the evening, make use of the pizza oven to prepare delicious meals and snuggle up around the fire pit to toast some marshmallows.

After a day exploring the Welsh countryside, rinse off in the external shower room before climbing into bed.

The bedroom includes a small double and twin beds with decorative bedding, as well as the sofa bed for flexible sleeping.

Heron's Retreat is an excellent base for avid walkers and bikers to explore the rolling hills and afterwards, venture into the market town of Llandysul, home to a handful of restaurants to dine out.

History buffs can tour National Wool Museum to learn about the Welsh wool industry or The National Coracle Centre At Cenarth Falls for a beautiful spot.

Spend the day in the ancient town of Cardigan, home to Cardigan Castle, one of the few Welsh castles open to the public, and Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park, a scenic nature reserve with trails, gardens, and a children's play area.

Get back to nature with a stay at Heron's Retreat.
