  • "We were very happy with our holiday accommodation, it was much nicer than we were expecting."

Excellent. one issue - the gate at the top of the stairs was quite dangerous, a gate is necessary for children (although it didn't fasten) but the bottom bar across the top stair is dangerous.

  • "Flat is very comfortable and had everything we needed."

It is in a good location, near to the beach and great for exploring the surrounding area.

  • "A holiday flat that was almost perfect, marred only by minor niggles for a couple in their late 70s."

Bedroom has only 1 bedside table and light pull not over bed. Low threshold step to bedroom a trip hazard. Loo seat wonky. Child gate at edge of stairs difficult to step over. No details on recycling items. Green wheelie bin missing. Having said all that, the flat is lovely and after 11 nights there are looking forward to rebooking in the future.

  • "Great little property at a reasonable cost."

Used mainly as a base to travel in the local area as there is not much to do in Pwllheli itself. Would be nice to have a second bedside table in the bedroom and a lamp. And it's a pity there isn't a garden that can be used. Overall though would return if the opportunity arises.

Good they let us know when we got in it was a case of ooh this is lovely and quirky upside down lay out but it was really quite dirty toothpaste spat up the bathroom cabinet, layers of dust everywhere and a chip box under sette the oven microwave and fridge were also dirty the light in the bathroom had the cover hanging dwn so bare wires I e mailed sykes Fri there was no answer till I actually called them on sunday I sent over all the pics and they said I would hear from the owners that was 2 wks ago no answer I held off review as I thought it only fare to hear the explanation looking at the guest book there were 2 or 3 who said dissappointed that they'd had no answer I think we were first of the season as last entry was December 23 so Id of thought it would of been a good first clean I'm dissappointed with Sykes as they advertise the property

Very clean and modern. The huge bed was was very comfortable with lovely bouncy pillows. Couldn't fault this place. Would definitely recommend. Ideally situated for all amenities, with a beach at your door step, what more could you need

Spotlessly clean as always and a new hover that is ideal for the property. I have a feeling that visit number 5 will coming soon.

  • "This is my 3rd visit to this property but I was disappointed this time as there were no cleaning cloths no cleaning spray."

No scourer or dish cloth to wash up but there were three the time's before. Tried to vacuum up but the battery hoover was dead so had to wait 4hrs for it to change up . Don't think I will be coming to this property again as we were disappointed that the basic cleaning equipment was not there .

I'm sorry about the cleaning products. I've spoken to the cleaners and this was an oversight as they usually leave cleaning items at every changeover. Yours is the first complaint about the vacuum, but I will change it for a mains powered one. Next time, if you decide to return for a 4th visit, please do call me if you have any issues during your stay. Property Owner

  • "The flat is in a great location very close to the beach and local amenities."

It’s modern in decoration and feels quite homely. Overall it was cleaned to a good standard with the odd area for improvement such as dust and hairs on the skirting board near the stairs. We called ahead to request a high chair and travel cot as advised on the listing. When we found the travel cot and put it up, it had an awful smell like it had been in a house fire but I damaged. We could smell it as soon as we walked towards the stairs in the flat as the bedroom is downstairs. If you’re looking for somewhere basic to stay to keep your holiday cost down then I would recommend this place, but if you need a travel cot take your own.

I was unable to cook on it. Other than that i would certainly go back there and recommend it to friends.

Thank you for your feedback. We are really pleased you enjoyed your stay and that you will recommend it to your friends. Very sorry about the hob, we will get it replaced ASAP. Property Owner
