  • "Surprised at how spacious this property was ."

3 good sized bedrooms, 1 king-size,1 standard double & 1 single, all with ample storage for your stay. A well equipped kitchen with all that you need and a large lounge/diner ,with two sofas and table for 5/6 people. Bathroom has the usual toilet, basin & shower over bath, easy to clean. Personnelly I'd have cabinet for toiletries but it wasn't a problem. Private secluded garden to the rear to keep your dog safe if taking one ,some good sturdy chairs and table with a barbeque for some alfresco dining. We chose to eat at the nearby Ysgethin pub/restaurant,great food.. Only one point I could fault was that it took a while for hot water to reach taps/shower, wasting a bit of water, not sure if that could rectified. Overall we were very happy to stay there and are looking forward to booking another stay in the near future. Also a big plus was the communication between ourselves and the property owners, checking all was well & if there was anything we needed. Impressed is an understatement.

Wow, what an amazing review, thankyou so much for your lovely words. We’re so pleased you enjoyed your stay at our home. Totally agree about the hot water but unfortunately because it’s a gravity fed system we can’t do anything about it. We’re delighted that you are planning to return and look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Kind regards Deb and Ken Property Owner

  • "On arriving at the property we were amazed at such a beautiful home."

It's a lot bigger than it looks in the pictures!! We were a party of 5 adults and 2 dogs and had plenty of space. The bungalow is on a residential estate, but tucked away in a cul-de-sac and very quiet, with distant sea views. It is bright, airy, clean and well decorated. All the rooms are decent sizes, comfortable beds, kingsize bedroom also has a modern tv on the wall. The kitchen is very well equipped with pots, pans, glasses, plates, bowls and cutlery. The rear garden is very private, fully enclosed, there are mature shrubs and plants, lawned areas and large paved area with solid wooden patio furniture. One thing to bear in mind is the shower isn't temperature controlled so can catch you out at first until you master the flow of hot and cold. The communication from the owner was spot on and when we reported the iron faulty it was dealt with immediately. Maybe an instruction on how to use the storage radiators if needed would be useful, for us, using the electric fire for a short time some evenings was adequate and a towel rail warms the bathroom nicely. We most definitely will return to the property and there's so much to do in the area.

  • "Our first time staying at Bedfelltan and what a wonderful place."

The bungalow is lovely and felt like home from home. Very clean and tidy and everything there that you need including the small details like stair gate in the kitchen to be able to keep the dogs in when coming in from outside and bowls for the dogs also. The garden is lovely and well presented with outdoor furniture. The area is ever so peaceful and walking distance to the nearest pub. The beach is a 5 minute drive away Would highly recommend any one to stay here and we will definitely be returning in the future.

Thankyou so much for your wonderful feedback, we’re so please you enjoyed your stay and we really hope to welcome you back again. Many thanks Deb and Ken Property Owner

It was within easy reach to several beaches for some lovely walks with our dogs. Having an enclosed secure garden was very important to keep our two labs safe when outside. It was perfect for our needs and we would love to return in the future.

  • "Lovely, clean, spacious and beautifully kept bungalow ."

Immaculate garden. Very private not overlooked at the back. Two members of the party were disabled and the bungalow was brilliant for peace and quiet for them. The sound of the river was lovely and a great sweeping view of the bay from the bedroom windows. Great location just short walk from the village centre, a restaurant, bus stop, train halt and even some amusements courtesy of the local caravan sites. The beach is gorgeous here and just a 10 minute stroll down the lane past aforementioned amusements and caravans. Amazing views over to the Llyn peninsula. Talybont has one of my very favourite beaches. Barmouth, Portmeirion and Harlech within easy reach. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and definitely plan to revisit

  • "Disappointed, the place was lovely but we were cold, storage heaters gave no warmth, and neither the towel rail or heater worked in the bathroom, I suffer severe arthritis so couldn't put up with the cold to have a shower the radiator in the kitchen was locked ,,also horrible dirty mark on bottom sheet in the bedroom ."

Draft coming through patio doors,we had to put cushions against blinds to stop the noise .

I’m so sorry that you were disappointed, it’s taken us a while to respond as I wanted to get feedback from our other guests that stayed after you as we don’t usually get negative feedback. I really have no idea why you felt the property was cold as we visited ourselves after your visit to check and our last guests have reported no problems either. I can assure you that the problem with the bathroom heater has been resolved. The “lock” on the kitchen heater was simply a child lock and if you had raised it with me I would have told you how to unlock it. I’m so sorry that your stay didn’t meet your expectations as we do our best to make sure all our guests have the best experience. Kind regards Deb and Ken Property Owner
