  • "Very comfortable and quiet."

Nice and warm, we found everything easy to use. Very comfy bed too. I imagine it would be quiet busy around the site in school hols and summer, so would avoid for this reason. This is ideal for an out of high season break, which we prefer. A very dog friendly area, with always some beach access. You get a later sun set on the West coast too. Excellent for holiday with dogs, and walking, easy to keep clean with the hard floor and under floor heating, which is so cosy.

  • "Love this property , 4th visit now and I’ve already booked for next year!"

The kettle was broke and this was handled quickly and replaced the same day , very professional. The cleaning cupboard requires a new mop and bucket , and some cleaner to place in the bucket so the cottage can be mopped on departure. The only thing for me is the check-in / check-out time I think 16:00pm on day of arrival is far to late as time you unpack and settle , it’s bed time so the first night is wasted really , and 10:00am is early most places are around 11:30am , this would give more time to have breakfast and clean cottage before departing ( the lady next door also mentioned this to me aswell) Many thanks for a fabulous stay , great loacation , great space , close to amenities Thanks again Zoë

  • "Authentic stone barn conversion with thick walls stayed cool in the heat."

Well appointed with spacious interior and large external patio with sea views. Quiet despite the nearby campsite which provided facilities like a restaurant and supermarket and access to a clean wide sandy beach. Well located for walkers (we used Kttiwake Barmouth and Harlech books) with some outstanding scenery (the view on the Panorama walk from the bench is hard to beat). Harlech Castle is also well worth a visit)

Hope to visit same time next year. Great facilities, clean and comfy beds/sofas. Wi-Fi was good for those that need it. Kitchen is very well equipped. Cottage is well positioned to get out and about. If you know the surrounding area, there is a lot to see and explore. Great family holiday, thanks for helping us in making memories for our two little lads.

  • "We had a wonderful stay in the cottage having chosen it because friends stayed in the one next door the previous year."

Its in a fabulous location, just a short stroll to the beach. The cottage itself has been renovated to a high standard and is very well equipped in the kitchen. The bathroom is a tad on the small side but the shower over the bath is excellent; extremely powerful. The beds were very comfortable. Our only gripe was the size of the TV for the size of the room and for such a high end property I would have expected a larger one. After a long day it was nice to snuggle down on the sofas and one very wet day where we stayed in all day but we had to keep pausing the TV to go and take a closer look at things which got irritating.

We couldn’t have asked for more! Stylish, contemporary living space in the heart of the Welsh coastline. Kitchen is very week equipped. Beds are really comfy, living room set up was perfect for a family. The bathroom and shower pressure was great. We have been coming to the area for the last 30 years and must have walked past the location of the cottage hundreds of times before. We have no complaints at all and would love to visit again in the future.

  • "This is the 3rd time we've stayed at one of these cottages and we love the place."

We've never left any negative feedback but we think there are 3 points worth mentioning this time. You need the kitchen window open if you're cooking and its extremely difficult to do so, it's difficult to access and very stiff. The skylight in the lounge is noisy when its windy and it does get windy there believe me! These are minor details and very quick fix if the owner decides to rectify them. The last issue is not so easily rectified. There is a guard dog onsite and it must hold the world record for barking. The other guests onsite raised this with the owner while we were there and it has been mentioned in the guest book. None of the above will deter us from visiting again however our next trip will be to somewhere near Tenby next March and we're looking already! The cottages are brilliant and with a few tweaks will be even better.

There are so many beautiful places to visit. The beaches are stunning, and there are so many walks to choose from. We found two spectacular waterfalls and a drive-on beach (black rock beach). The facilities at Sisial-y-Mor are perfect, everything you need and the beds are extraordinarily comfortable. Clearly a lot of consideration has gone into the decor and it is finished with quality and taste. Booking through Sykes Cottages was super easy and hassle-free. Thank you.

On arrival the property was easy to find and in a great location for local rural and beach walks. The property layout itself, all on one level, the cleanliness and the welcome pack exceeded our expectations and from the first moment we arrived we knew we were in for a great time. We did many days out to beautiful towns, beaches and historical sites and was able to unwind in the Sisial-y-mor cottage. Sarah the owner was great, friendly and very helpful. If you are looking to spend a holiday away from home with your dogs, walking distance from the beach, close to all amenities we many lovely places to stay, this has got to be one at the top of your list. From the moment we made contact with Sykes cottages, explained that we had found a property we liked and had 3 small dogs, they did the rest and made it work and because, the dogs, my girlfriend and I enjoyed it so much we are considering a return holiday to this property later in the year.

Utility room with washer and dryer was very useful with two small children. Quiet and peaceful, yes there are caravan parks around but none that are right outside the cottage and we didn’t experience any noise from them. Great location to explore North Wales. Lovely comfy, warm beds and bedding. Well equipped , clean kitchen. Comfy sofa seating. TV too small for the room. We had to move the sofas closer. Underfloor heating not adequate when it's cold, although other heating was offered when l enquired. The worst thing was the boiler, which roared so so noisily and never switched off that l had to decamp from the master to the twin room to get any sleep. My husband slept thru it as he is hearing impaired.
