"A lovely place to stay in an ideal location."
Had a relaxing stay at Nuthatch Cottage and enjoyed the cosy and homely ambience. A delicious welcome basket filled with local produce had been left which was very much appreciated and gave us a delicious Sunday morning cooked breakfast. The cottage was thoughtfully equipped with lot of extras you don't normally find in a rental property. We spent a lot of time watching the wide range of birds visiting the well stocked bird feeders. Would stay again.
Thank you for the kind words in your feedback. We were really pleased that you enjoyed your stay, particularly watching the birds in the garden. Property Owner

"Nuthatch cottage is a lovely comfortable, clean & well kept accommodation with hosts that go out of their way to make your stay a memorable one."
On arrival, we were greeted with a very nice & thoughtful welcome pack. With walks right from the property you don't have to drive everyday to explore the area. The large variety of birds on the feeders kept us well entertained whilst relaxing in the garden after coming back from our explorations of this wonderful area.( worthwhile taking some nuts & seed as feeders run out very quickly) We & our springer spaniel Dexter really enjoyed our stay here, so much so we will most definitely going back next year. Until then, thank you Gillian & Barry for a wonderful vacation.

"We really enjoyed our stay at nuthatch cottage, the cottage was clean and cosy."
We enjoyed the extra's provided; the water cooler, the cosy fireplace, the well stocked bathrooms and the fabulous service provided by Gill and Barry who were ready to help with any enquiries. The garden is small but an incredible bird haven - we loved watching the pretty tiny birds pecking at the bird feeder and were fascinated by the chicks in the nest being fed by their mother. The views to the lake behind were enjoyed whilst eating our meals. Thank you for giving us a relaxing holiday, Alexander, Sarah and family
