Regular boat trips leave from the harbours of Buckie and further along the coast to Macduff, which offer the chance to see bottlenose dolphins and an array of sea birds. To the west of the town, Spey Bay is the base for the Scottish Dolphin Centre and is also a fantastic place from which to spot dolphins and seals! From Buckie, stretching in both directions, the coastline is peppered with pretty fishing villages and wonderful beaches that are perfect to stroll along with your fish and chips. Pack a picnic, drive to the fabled Loch Ness and enjoy a stroll along its stunning shoreline, or explore the historic city of Elgin, a short drive away.
