  • "Lovely well kept cottage with a big garden to sit in on sunny days."

    Large kitchen and table seats everyone, good wi-fi reception and freestat on TV. There is a DVD player if you want to play your favourite films. Stairs are steep and shower is over the bath. Ideal location for exploring North Norfolk. Check route when venturing out as satnav sends you down one track roads some unsuitable for motor vehicles. Would definitely stay here again

This welcoming, semi-detached 19th century brick and flint cottage offers a wonderful base for guests to explore Norfolk.

It has been tastefully decorated throughout and benefits from an excellent village location and a large enclosed garden.

Step in and enjoy the mix of modern and character rich furniture and appliances which create an attractive, comfortable and practical holiday home.

The well-equipped kitchen and dining area enables guests to enjoy time together.

Doors lead out to the large enclosed back garden and a patio ideal for alfresco dining.

The separate sitting room is ideal for guests to enjoy throughout the year with comfortable sofas and a woodburning stove, ideal for the cooler nights while catching a movie.

Upstairs are two good size bedrooms, one double and one family room.

The bedrooms share a family bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Close by guests can enjoy the wonderful Norfolk coastline with excellent beaches, paths and popular towns and villages which are scattered along it.

The famous Georgian town of Holt is just a few miles away and certainly worth a visit, as is the Royal Sandringham Estate and both Felbrigg and Holkham Hall.

There are also nature reserves to enjoy close by.

BRISTON

Holt 4.2 miles; Fakenham 10.2 miles; Sheringham 10.5 miles; Dereham 15.8 miles, Norfolk Broads 23.3 miles.

The large village of Briston is situated in North Norfolk and offers an excellent local store, a superb butcher's shop, in addition to a pub, a pub/cafe, a fish shop selling lobster and the famous Cromer crabs, a sport playing field and a large village green. Located in a wonderfully central position, the village provides a good base from which to explore the surrounding area. The historic Georgian market town of Holt, with its tempting tea rooms and enjoyable shops, is less than five miles away, and Blakeney National Nature Reserve, with its fantastic bird spotting opportunities, less than ten miles away. Whether it’s boat trips and seal spotting around the coast, a day exploring some of the many historic towns in the area, or a day at the seaside resort of Sheringham that you’re looking for, this lovely location has lots to see and do.
