"Windyridge is a lovely property and the bench overlooking the sea makes the holiday really special."
The house is well equipped and comfortable with lots of space. The standard of cleaning could have been better, there were cobwebs and dust on the floor and the plastic tablecloth had sticky mug rings etc from the previous occupier. As there are no blinds on the large windows and the toilet opens directly into the living room, it was a bit alarming to find 2 window cleaners staring at me coming back from the shower on Saturday morning, followed by someone mowing the lawn later in the day. It left us feeling a bit vulnerable not knowing who was going to be outside the window next. The windows give a lovely view but it feels very exposed especially at night. All in all though the holiday was lovely, we saw 3 deer and a kestrel playing in the garden and sitting on the bench we saw several seals playing in the waves. The beach is easy to access right next to the property and there are nice shops in Stalham about 15 mins drive away.
