  • "Returned for another year to this quaint cottage with great views over the golf course."

Perfectly situated for daily walks along the beach.

  • "This little cottage suited our needs very nicely, the location to the beach was perfect with shops nearby."

The cottage had everything we needed

  • "Great location but decor, furniture, cooking utensils etc really do need sprucing up."

The doors onto the back garden/golf course were very difficult to open. No welcome pack (unless you count one pint of milk) and no instructions for tv. Very handy for shops and take-aways; easy access to the lovely beach. As in the listing, the stairs and the parking are quite challenging. Having highlighted these minor problems, the master bedroom had an extremely comfortable bed, which made up for everything. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay in Caister-on-Sea.

  • "We loved this property: It was bigger & lighter than we expected & was very comfortable, with everything we needed."

It was beautifully quiet & lovely to sit outside in the morning. Very near to the lovely Caister beach, & all amenities. We had lovely weather & this house was perfect for exploring the Broads & coastal area.

  • "Wonderful week."

Location is ideal with calming views. Quiet and rejuvenating. Stairs and parking a bit tricky. But I soon got used to them. Host was warm and welcoming.

  • "Nice, spacious, comfortable cottage."

Only two provisos: draughty 1st floor bathroom meant I couldn't enjoy my looked forward to bath and the other was the TV, BBC reception kept breaking down. Chip shop at end of road was good, as was the traditional butchers round the corner. Disappointed that the pub at road end was rarely open and was not cooking at all.

  • "Excellent cottage in a great location with everything you need in a quiet little street close to the beach and driving distance to great Yarmouth and surrounding area , parking on the drive is a challenge but once you have done it once it gets easier."

  • "I think that if the photo of the cottage had been of the front and not the back I would not have bothered to book it."

On the inside the double bed mattress needed to be changed it dipped badly in the middle, all the door hinges and catches could do with some oil.The parking space kept being blocked by the next property number 4.Also it should have a freezer or a dishwasher.Otherwise the beach and bus stop were 300 and 700 meters away very good.

Thank you for leaving feedback, we are happy with the way 3 Honeymoon Loke is depicted on the listing, and we do not advertise the property as having a dishwasher or a freezer. We have not received any other complaints regarding the bed, and are not aware of any dips in the mattress, this will be looked at along with the hinges, we live close by to the property and would encourage guests to contact ourselves or Sykes Cottages during their stay as some issues can be easily rectified. it was a spacious comfortable cottage, great to have two bathrooms and a lovely space to sit outside in the garden. Thankyou

So pleased you enjoyed staying at our little cottage. Thank you for the positive comments. We enjoyed the piano playing! Best wishes Dawn Property Owner

  • "Excellent location with the lovely beach so close."

House was comfortable and the bedrooms were a good size. As previous reviewers have said, the parking space is a bit difficult to turn into and as our car was too big to turn into the space we parked on the lane - availability became quite busy due to the Bank Holidays but not a major problem. The owner is lovely, very helpful and lives very close by.

Thank you dearly. Best wishes Dawn Property Owner

  • "The house has everything you need and more."

Plenty of space, comfy beds and relaxing views of golf course with the waves heard all day from beach. Couple of mins walk to the beach and shops in Caister - less than a minute to the chippy and Pub! Parking is tight on the 1st go, but you will get used to it. Excellent house for family of four to have a relaxing week away. Thanks

Bedroom and dining room furniture could do with being updated. Patio furniture wasn’t very comfy.

  • "A lovely little cottage in a very quiet location with nice views and easy and quick access to miles of gorgeous beach."

A nice coastal walk down to Gt Yarmouth where there is a lot on offer for families of all ages. Caister caters for most of your needs with a couple of supermarkets very close by, some good takeaways and a great little bakery and fishmonger. The cottage is very well appointed and has all you need for a home from home. Parking is available but it's a tight turn in and if you have a big car then park on the lane rather than the drive. Highly recommended if you want a very nice comfortable stay.

  • "This is a lovely little cottage in a great location."

Being able to sit outside in the sun to enjoy your breakfast and watch the sky is lovely. Short walk to a lovely beach and good fish and chip shop at the end of the road for those lazy evenings. Parking is a bit precarious and the beds were very soft. Not a problem if that is your preference. My son enjoyed the piano.

  • "We had a great stay at Honeymoon Loke."

It is a beautiful little cottage, in a lovely part of the world. The only reason I haven’t given full marks for the facilities is due only to a couple of very minor gripes. First was the lack of an iron & Ironing board. Second was the tiny TV that had poor sound & reception. This second issue wouldn’t normally bother us but due to the poor weather we experienced & the fact that everywhere was closed from 10pm because of Covid, we found ourselves spending more time than we normally would in the cottage. Despite the 2 minor issues highlighted, we would not hesitate to recommend 3 Honeymoon Loke.

  • "There were a few things we did not appreciate, although some may have been covered, or inferred, in the listing."

    1. The parking was extremely tight and difficult, involving reversing circa 60 metres, and a very tight turn. 2. Whilst the property allows dogs, there was no enclosed outside space to enable a door to be left open whilst in the cottage. 3. The dining area was small, and further restricted by the presence of a piano, and there were only 3 dining chairs. 4. The stairs were extremely steep, with a tight turn at the bottom. It was a concern that the landing had no socket or night light that would have made it feel safer for our kids leaving their bedrooms at night, next to the stairwell. 5. The kitchen only had a fridge, with no freezer compartment at all. there was a lack of utensils, although the owner did provide a cheese grater (and hair dryer) on request. Positively though, the location is extremely good, a short walk from the beach, pub, shops and various food outlets.
