  • "A superb property."

It had everything you could need and the little extra touches - especially for the dogs - were really thoughtful. The hosts (Sharon and Tim) are lovely. We would thoroughly recommend Walnut Tree Cottage as a base to explore Norfolk and we will be sending the details to family to suggest they book a stay.

  • "It was lovely to meet our wonderful hosts."

They gave us a very warm welcome, and left us a very generous welcome basket of goodies, including butter and milk in the fridge. They had thought of absolutely everything so that we had a fabulous stay. Walnut Cottage was just perfect; I could have moved in. A great cottage for two couples sharing. It was ideally situated for us as guests of Hickling sailing club for the week. It was also ideal for days out exploring the local area. The local shop at Catfield was amazingly well stocked, and was just over the road, with Tesco just a few minutes drive away. We had a really lovely holiday here and were sad to leave.

We loved having you here to stay. You certainly made the most of your week despite the weather. Thank you for leaving the cottage so clean and tidy - it really is appreciated. Should you wish to explore this part of the world again, we would be very pleased to welcome you all back to Walnut Tree Cottage. Property Owner

The property is like a home from home and the garden and paddock is fantastic for the dogs to run around. There was another great Welcome Pack from the owners, Tim & Sharon, and they made us very welcome as soon we arrived. There is a dog friendly pub in the village serving very good food and the village is well located for visiting the lovely Norfolk coast and the Broads. We will return again to this lovely place.
