  • "The towels and bath mat are looking a little tired."

It is a comfortable property central for visiting the local area. Appreciated use of central heating as weather dreadful.

Hello Lynne, Sorry you thought the towels and bath mat were looking a little tired. I try and replace every year. They are always tumbled . You could have helped yourself to others in the twin bedroom cupboard. Regards Julie Property Owner

  • "The location is perfect however the cottage interior needs a full refresh."

The expellar fan in the bathroom was very noisy. The mattresses need to be changed as they are rather uncomfortable.

Good morning, Could you explain that the cottage needs a full refresh. That was decorated throughout last Autumn. Previous guests have always been satisfied . I would have met you but i am still on holiday. I do like to meet all my guests. Regards Julie Property Owner

1 Crowlands Cottages is a charming, semi-detached cottage in the popular Norfolk market town of Holt.

With sought-after off-road parking, an enclosed courtyard, and enjoying a prime position near amenities, this cottage makes an ideal escape for couples, friends, or families looking to explore this lovely area.

After parking up, step into the property where a sitting room invites you for a moment of relaxation in the warmth of the gas fire, with a good book or a film on the Smart TV.

From here, utilise the kitchen and whip up a hearty meal, which can be enjoyed at the dining table with seating for four guests.

In the warmer months, you can enjoy your meals alfresco, thanks to the neat courtyard.

When sleep calls, venture upstairs to the bedrooms; a double and a twin room offer space to rest your head before a fun-filled day out, while the bathroom is where you can freshen up and prepare for your day.

You have all you need on the doorstep, including Budgens of Holt, which offers the best of local produce and suppliers, or if you don’t fancy cooking, why not treat your loved ones to a meal at the Micheline-starred Meadowsweet restaurant?

1 Crowlands Cottages is in a great location in the lovely Georgian market town of Holt; the town itself is packed with artisan and boutique shops, many antique shops, coffee shops, tea rooms and good restaurants.

On the edge of the town, the Green Flag awarded Holt Country Park has over 100 acres of woodland to discover with many organised events taking place too.

Just a short drive away is the coast and the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, perfect for walking, cycling and the RSPB at Titchwell is ideal for birdwatchers.

Some wonderful coastal towns and villages all around, including Brancaster, Thornham, Blakeney and Cley (just 5 miles away), also offering nature reserves, sailing, seal watching and crabbing.

The sandy beach at Sheringham is just six miles away, and if you continue a further three miles, you’ll find the only full-season, end-of-pier variety show in the world on Cromer Pier!

Named in the Telegraph as the second prettiest place in the country to do Christmas shopping, Holt offers plenty to do around the festive season, including the famous light switch on.

After all this excitement it’s a lovely escape back to the peace and quiet of this wonderfully-presented property, 1 Crowlands Cottages.
