  • "The property needed a good clean from top to bottom, the oven is very dirty, the microwave was left dirty, a lot of the glasses, crockery and pots and pans were dirty, the floor needed mopping, there was no where to put our food shopping as the kitchen cupboards were full even the other cupboards in the property were full of the owners things as well, some of the cupboard doors were off their hinges and this had previously been mentioned by other people, not enough towels had been left and those that had needed replacing, the sofa downstairs was stained and there was not enough seating for us all so some off us had to sit up the table while watching tv, the downstairs bed is extremely uncomfortable and needs replacing and no quilt cover was left for the quilt we found slung in the upstairs cupboard also no pillowcases, the upstairs shower door didn’t close properly and there was still cobwebs above it as mentioned by others, the grout in the shower is black, the upstairs toilet seat is cracked and none of the locks on the toilets worked, the double bedroom floor at the top of the stairs collapsed on the entrance to the room, luckily no one was hurt, the sink in the downstairs bathroom is cracked, the WiFi is advertised but does not work so they tell you to use the clubhouse WiFi that is not very good either, a lot of these things have been mentioned by other people but obviously ignored."

This house was convenient for where it was but we don’t believe this should be on your books and if you think it should be then your standards have dropped.

  • "Fantastic location and complex with lovely staff and locals but let down by terrible accomodation, if I had not travelled 4 hrs to get there I would have gone home."

Upstairs fairly clea tidy and modern, downstairs an accident waiting to happen! A toilet shoved in 1 cupboard with nowhere to wash hands, shower in another. Kitchen cupboard doors hanging off, no wifi, rusty old bike on patio with no furniture and a giant mona lisa??? Such a shame as great potential

  • "There were some issues with the property which we were unable to get resolved because the owner's contact phone numbers and our messages were not answered."

This issue must be addressed. Issues were: no internet for the entire week, two dining chairs 'seats' were detached from the frames (useable with care), dining table was very wobbly (useable with care), toilet seat detached from the toilet (useable with care), two pink carpet stains covered by coffee table, no instructions on how to turn on the hot water (eventually found timer switch in upstairs toilet) or disposal of rubbish at the end of the stay (we left it bagged on the outside porch). On a more positive note the property was clean and we enjoyed our stay although the lack of internet was very frustrating and hindered our planning for the week. Since our return I have still been unable to contact the owner to make them aware of these issues or the general content of my feedback.

  • "It was a nice house."

With all the facilities needed. The bedrooms are very nice, big enough and clean. Good beds to sleep on. The living room is smaller and because of the bed downstairs to small to move properly. The sofa is old and not so comfortable anymore. Also the table and some chairs are wobbly. It was nice that there was coffee, tea and sugar available. We could not find thow to activate the hot water after 2 phonecalls we received help and the problem was solved. Maybe you can write it down with the instructions. The house is close to the sea and there is a swimming pool. We had a nice stay.

  • "Very comfortable and clean."

Pleasant decor. Just a couple of things need fixing though. There is no hot water in downstairs bathroom, and the dining table needs to be fixed. But other than that I can't fault this lovely little cottage.

  • "We. Just went for a few days at half term and expected poor weather (which isn’t the fault of accommodation), however the accommodation did not compensate."

Upstairs bedrooms were clean and comfortable but one bedroom described as having en-suite shower but the shower was cold/tepid and very low power. The upstairs toilet was very small with no sink for hand washing. Also the downstairs bathroom shower was either very hot or cold.

  • "There was a big picture of Monia Lisa hanging on the wall, with a single bed looking like a coffin in the downstairs room."

Dinner table was not attached to the legs, and the sofa when you sat on it nearly touch the ground. Upstairs was totally different very nice, the only concern I has was the upstairs toilet had no sink to wash your hands.
