  • "Lovely stay."

Fantastic views and really comfortable beds. Only one downside if I’m being picky. There’s far too many ornaments etc. even the decking outside. No space anywhere to put your own things. A declutter would definitely be beneficial. Would not stop me staying again. Thank you.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. I suppose it is personal preference, we want the place to feel like a home from home. We will have a look when we next visit. Thanks Gary & Tina Property Owner

Lovely to be able to sit outside on the decking with a sea view . Very peaceful, very relaxing. The property was well equipped. If I was being picky, would be better if there bath sheets as opposed to bath towels

Thanks for your feedback. Glad you enjoyed Bungalow 14. We have now changed the size of our towels based on your feedback, much appreciated. Property Owner

It was fantastically equipped and we had a wonderful time. Very comfortable and perfect for a family, even with 6 of us it didn't feel cramped. Use of the swimming pool was fantastic. Watching the sunrise over the sea was magical. Apologies for the table cloth, my little one spilt Bolognese sauce. I hope the replacement was suitable. Hopefully you'll let us back next year ☺️

Thank you for the positive feedback. We work hard to ensure you have a great stay. Accidents happen, thanks for your honesty and the replacement. See you soon. Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely stay and the bungalow is highly suitable for a mini break for 6, or probably longer for a family of 4."

One minor thing which would make life easier, is if there were a few more rails in the bathroom for hanging wet towels. I've only rated facilities and management as down a little because when we first went to use the pool, we were told we had to pay, despite information in the Bungalow and our understanding when booking that pool was included. I called the contact number in the folder in the Bungalow and was assured by the owner that no payment was necessary for use of the pool and things got sorted, so all was well. Only mentioning so that another hirer does not get caught out by mis-informed reception or pool staff.

I will feed this back to the team on site, they run the facilities. You do need to ask for a pass at the beginning of your stay. Glad you enjoyed the rest of your stay. Property Owner

Clean, comfortable with a great view. Wi-Fi and Netflix make this feel even more like home for us as we like to relax indoors in the evening after a couple of drinks in the very dog friendly pub over the road. Great position for exploring both Suffolk and Norfolk. Friendly, helpful owner on hand if required

  • "Bungalow 14 was clean and comfortable and equipped with all we needed for our stay."

It was listed as having sea views… indeed it does… but through a chain link fence with no access to any beach within walking distance for my youngest grandson. My hope had been for a child friendly holiday beside the sea! The small swimming pool was great for the children but access to that was limited to between 11am and 4pm so not suitable for a swim before or after a day out. Although the bungalow was “dog friendly “ there was nowhere nearby where a dog could run off lead. The cooker controls had worn off so we made an educated guess when using it… luckily it worked! I feel my comments are more regarding the property description/ geography of the area than anything the owners could change ( other than cooker controls) …. Not a fan of clubhouse bars/ Gyms/ arcades so would choose somewhere else next time!

I really wish you had used the information in the property pack. There is access to the beach from the end of the park. Its a lovely wide beach, you often sneak a view of the local seals. The gate code is in the pack. The swimming pool is open from 10 - 4 in the winter. Dogs can be let off the lead on the beach, but unfortunately we could not inform you. I don't know any holiday park that will let dogs roam freely. The arcade is very small and only open at the weekend. The bar is very quiet onsite and not based anywhere near Bungalow 14. Its a shame you did not enjoy your stay. Property Owner

The furnishings were comfortable and a very homely atmosphere had been created. The amazing views kept us busy during the colder days when we could watch the ships and boats passing by. • "Just had a fabulous week in Bungalow 14!"

The bungalow was perfect for my elderly parents, and having 3 bedrooms meant our daughter could also spend a few days with us and her grandparents too. The bungalow was spotlessly clean and so warm and cosy. There was everything we could possibly need there (oh apart from a corkscrew, but the local pub saved the day and lent us one till we could pick one up!) And the sea views………we really couldn’t be closer to the sea! The staff around site were all lovely and friendly. The swimming pool looks fantastic although we never got around to using it. Fantastic breakfast in Coast bar before leaving, and enjoyed a couple of eves in the bar during the week. Perfectly situated for local supermarkets if self catering. The bus stopped outside the site heading both up towards Great Yarmouth and beyond and down to Lowestoft, and was frequent and ran late into the evening. We enjoyed a lovely evening at the small retro cinema in Lowestoft, and a meal out at the White Horse pub across the road. We’ve visited some beautiful towns, and managed a couple of really lovely walks at Beccles, and a stunning walk from Southwold and around Walberswick, over the marshes and along the beach. The hosts were excellent with communication and sent a very comprehensive guide to the bungalow and the area before we arrived. We would love to return again another time, there’s so much more of the area to explore, I’m sure we will be back again. The Harrison family

  • "It was a very nice little bungalow, deffo preferred it to staying in a chalet/static."

The area is nice and peaceful and all the locals (inc those on site) seem very friendly and approachable. The bungalow Is beachfront as such but it’s on top of a cliff so don’t expect to walk out the front door and walk straight onto the beach, which was disappointing at first, but not the end of the world as gorleston beach is a short car journey up the road and is nice, Yarmouth seafront only slightly further on too so wasn’t the end of the world. It’s ideally placed with tesco, co op, also and other various smaller shops within a couple of miles for a big shop. Couple of things to note: Well there’s a lot of bugs and insects encountered when sitting on the decking I’m sure the spiders can fly around here

I am glad you enjoyed your holiday on the whole. Yes the bungalow is on the top of a cliff, which allows for great sea views. I think you may have missed the Corton beach, which is about 400 yards away. You access through the caravan park to the right of Waterside currently and it is about a 5 minute walk due to damage being done to the main beach entrance. There are also long blue flag beeches at Gorleston and Lowestoft. Its a shame that there were lots of bugs around during your stay, but you did have fantastic weather. Property Owner
