"Great stay, we knew what to expect because stayed on this site in 1970s Getting in touch with Sykes was awful."
Just wanted to ask a simple question about bedding and because Sykes is geared to a loop the loop messaging system, just ended up taking our own quilts to be safe. Communication very very difficult. App didn't work. Stay was wonderful. There's a sign that says beach access is a mile, which is nonsense. Probably worth putting something of a note in chalet suggesting walking past 'no access' sign by 3 minutes to a lovely set of steps onto beach ( not a mile away as sign misleads ) Proximity to beach is wonderful ( about 5 minutes walk ) !!! Chalet is beautiful and well equipped would easily stay again

"Inside the property was very nicely decorated."
The site itself was a bit grim and not a lot around it. Also there were no emergency numbers to call if we had any problems. We had an issue with one of the fire alarms needing a new battery and it kept bleeping every couple of minutes. No number to call so I ended up taking it down and removing the battery. The only thing I was able to do was message sykes and that didn't produce a solution. All in all it was a nice property in a not so nice area

"Whilst your property appeared clean and tidy we were constantly clearing spiders through out our stay."
My entire family contracted covid whilst staying at your property. The surrounding areas of the property let it down due to lack of care and Maintainence. We would not recommend it.
So sorry to hear you all had Covid while on your holidays. It sounds like it upset your holiday experience. It was very kind of you to tell us before you left. We have a fantastic professional cleaning company that do the change over, and they sanitize everything. We have asked them to be extra diligent for spiders as it can be a downsides of being in a lovely countryside location. Property Owner

"The chalet was clean apart from the settees which had stains on it."
The site itself needs some serious TLC especially the carpark a few potholes a chalet that's all boarded up and lots of brambles. The path to the beach was quite a way off.If we had seen the site before we wouldn't have stayed.
Thank you for taking time to provide feedback. Soon as you reported feedback about marks on the sofa, our professional cleaning team attended and it's like new again. I am sorry about potholes and brambles around the car park. The car park is surrounded by a boarder of BlackBerry bushes as it's along side a country lane leading to the beach, but you are welcome to park outside the chalet. There are 3 ways you can get to the beach. I will put a map in the chalet showing the paths. Property Owner
