  • "Lovely apartment very handy for the town and beach and with parking ."

    However unfortunately lack of maintenance both the central heating and the gas fire did not work on arrival . I contacted the owner and was told to buy new batteries for the heating I was not impressed with that so she said she would send her cleaners to have a look . Due to the time of day I decided to purchase new batteries . I was refunded And I had the central heating working before the cleaners arrived but the gas fire would not work . Not really the way to start a holiday in October . Re cleaning the apartment was clean but unfortunately the rear patio door to the bedroom and the kitchen door and window were very dirty and the nice little rear garden was full of weeds and finally the double bed was very small and extremely uncomfortable I feel all of the above could be sorted very easily and then it would be a first class apartment for holidays and return business.

After a short discussion I realised the batteries must have gone/been removed as also our spare batteries in the draw had been taken too. I advised my cleaners would come out from Kings Lynn and would take 45 mins . I did advise if you wanted an instant fix the hardware shop was over the road to purchase some and I would settle it for you. You advised you were not going to do this. My cleaners arrived within 45 mins and you advised you had purchased batteries. We refunded you and checked over everything else. We always want our guest to enjoy their stay. Unfortunately we may run into the odd issue and I think responding within 45 mins is the best I can do. I remained polite and efficient to you at all times. Property Owner

    !!! Also ONE part used toilet roll!!!! Windows are filthy. WiFi password incorrect Just as well the bed was comfortable otherwise we would have left.Would not stay here again

  • "The flat was very disappointing."

    On first sight the front step is crumbling and the door scruffy and ill fitting. The windows have not been cleaned either inside or out. The rear patio garden looks lovely on the photographs but in reality is overgrown, unkempt and scruffy. the garden furniture is covered in spiders' webs, leaves and debris. The slabs had not been swept. Not an inviting place to sit. Inside most surfaces appeared clean but light fittings, especially in the kitchen were dusty. The wardrobe was linked on both sides to the alcove walls with large cobwebs, as was the rubbish bin. In the lounge the soft furnishings are very tired. More light is needed in the dark tiled bathroom to be able to use the mirrors and the towels are of very poor quality. The flat has been fitted with a new bathroom and kitchen and these are the best features. The flat is in an ideal location for all Hunstanton's amenities, but it is not value for money and I would not recommend it's use in it's present condition.

  • "Excellent location, just a short stroll to the sea front and shops."

    Good size parking space. Spacious, clean, well furnished rooms. Plenty of storage for toiletries in bathroom (unlike a lot of places we've stayed!!!) Good garden with choice of table and chairs or 'settee' type seating. Think our only 'complaint' is that the vegetable peeler blade kept coming away from the handle - small potatoes so to speak!!!!

    Furniture in lounge a bit ‘tired’. Kitchen and bathroom lovely although the bathroom hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned; talcum powder in the bath and on the tiles. Double bed was poor quality but comfortable enough. No dishwasher and no tumble drier or line to dry clothes. The owners provided bed linens and towels but, unfortunately the towels were very damp when we arrived. We assumed this was from being laundered but it was a real problem as we had no way of drying them. We emailed the owners with these comments but have received no response. Overall though it’s a great place.

  • "This property is very clean, well equipped, warm and comfortable."

    The location is very good, 5 minutes walk to the shops and the beach and about 10 minutes walk to the bus station where you can go to Kings Lynn or the other way to Wells next the sea, takes about an hour each way. Would use this place again.

  • "We booked knowing there was a shed as we were bringing our cycles, however we were unable to get down the entry or open the gate."

    Fortunately we were able to store cycles in front hallway without blocking entrance. Other than a wornout airer we had a lovely week away. Must say weather helped.

  • "The property internally suffered from very dusty places ie."

    bathroom cabinet, very dirty kitchen light. There were flies everywhere. The utility doors did not open hence we could not use the washing machine or the freezer. The external back yard had garden furniture which was covered in cobwebs, we don't expect to have to clean a place when we arrive to staying in it. The outside front needs a bit of TLC. Overly priced for the property.

    Would definitely stay there again if they change the bed and the lining. If you suffer with any arthritis then this bed would be no good for you

    A great base from which to go visit local nature reserves and to walk the Norfolk Coast path. A dustpan and brush would have been useful but other than that well equipped with instructions on how to use appliances which was great.

    Ideal location for exploring Hunstanton and the surrounding area. There were a couple of areas needing improvement: the side access to the garden area was unusable due to the accumulation of bird droppings and the outside of the windows were very dirty which spoilt the overall feel of the flat.

  • "What a lovely surprise this apartment was!"

    Booked last minute with Sykes who were amazing at helping out with queries. The apartment is in a perfect location for us, and the bonus of having a generous sized parking space on the driveway, which fitted our large 4x4 with ease. The apartment was great! On the ground floor so has the added benefit of the back yard space with the sun in the morning. It was a very cute space with a large double bedroom (could fit another put up bed in there as well if required) and a double sofa bed in the lounge. Kitchen and bathroom were beautifully fitted out and had everything you could need for your stay including essentials in the cupboards for cooking. The owners were very quick to resolve a small query at the beginning of our stay which was most appreciated. All in all, it was great! We will stay here again in the future.

    Plenty of utensils, crockery and cutlery. Kitchen is excellent. Bathroom is excellent too. Living room is spacious and very pleasant. Would just like a bigger, longer double bed as footboard and surround are a little uncomfortable.

    Communal hallway inside main front door very dirty, dirty carpet, cobwebs etc. Paint flaking off the wall inside flat door, windows very dirty, lots of cobwebs above blinds in bedroom. Shower head dirty and only operates at lukewarm temperature. Outside garden area full of weeds and grass uncut, garden furniture covered in bird muck. Utility room unswept and washing machine not clean. Lovely location, such a shame about the cleanliness.

  • "On entering the apartment we were met with 2 bags full of dirty laundry left it till evening thinking it would be collected it wasn't so put it outside in the little hallway it was still there when we left 7 days after."

    The bed was far too low like sleeping on floor,cobwebs everywhere even in kitchen and bathroom so not cleaned right,settees could do with upgrade one cushion had food stuck to it.Outside chairs had to be cleaned before we could use them.Its in a great location for everywhere but that's about all it's good for.Would have booked again but not in the state it's in

  • "The location of the apartment was excellent."

    Facilities both in the apartment and nearby was also superb. The only drawback was the bed. Despite a very spacious bedroom the bed is a standard double but with the mattress set within the bed frame with a footboard it meant you felt squashed. If you are 6ft taller or more this may be even more of an issue. The bed is also very very low and would perhaps present difficulties for less able visitors. We found the mattress somewhat uncomfy but this may be just us. Other than that a great place to stay.

    Having its own parking place is great. Its right outside the front door. The flat is well placed for the town. Many a day were got back to the flat in the dark and found having the outside light very useful, it meant we could get things out of the boot and then see the steps to get into the flat. Thank you for putting up a light. Also I have to say the heating in the flat is very good, when we got back at the end of the day we put it on and it did not take long to heat up the flat, we were very comfortable. We are looking forward to our next stay.

    Hopefully next year. Its nice and comfortable. We love having two settee with plenty of room around them. The place is clean and fresh. I would like to make a sugestion. When we came back in the dark I could not see the steps. So I think a light that comes on as you arrive would be good. As the place has three flats i am not sure how you get on to arrange this.

  • "The location of the flat is prefect, literally a small walk to the shops and the sea."

    The flat has some great facilities, new kitchen and bathroom, however the cleanliness was a let down. I had to get the hoover out not long after arriving as there were lots of hairs in the carpet which wasn't great with the kids playing on the floor. Also the sofa needed a hoover as when we were looking for the sofa bed again bits and hairs under the cushions. The instructions say the bedding for the sofa bed should be in the wooden box in the living room, but it wasn't I had to find it myself, could be worth updating the instructions or making sure it's where it says it is. The sofa bed not very comfy so bear that in mind if 4 adults are staying. Someone previously mentioned the kettle leaking and we had the same issue, could be worth a upgrade. Also I couldnt find a pizza cutter which would be useful. We had a great week and a great beach to visit was brancaster, beautiful beach and plenty of parking. Location is prefect and the flat is great with the added bonus of a drive to park on. The flat has most things you need just the cleanliness that let it down for us.

    The advertising details were spot on, the flat has all you would need, and is really well located in a quiet position, but near the beach, shops and cafes. The owner responded quickly when contacted.

  • "Property is in a lovely central location, minutes away from the beach and shops plus assorted bars and restaurants."

    Parking space provided was invaluable. Property has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. Issue with limited saucepans was quickly rectified by the owner. Access is through the back door due to COVID restrictions, only issue with this is the pigeons nesting in the guttering. Owners have clearly done what they can to eradicate them with spikes on all available ledgers. Overall an excellent property and would recommend to family and friends.

Resting in the sunny Norfolk town of Hunstanton is this attractive dwelling, Northgate Ground Floor Flat, perfect for a romantic break for four by the seaside.

After parking in your allocated parking spot at the front of the house, make your way in through the communal front door before finding your own private door on the left, stepping straight into the spacious living/dining room.

The award-winning coastal town of Hunstanton, locally known as Sunny Hunny, is located on the Western side of the East Norfolk Coastline, renowned for its beautiful sunsets over the sea. Hunstanton is a great family-friendly holiday destination.
