  • "Myself and my family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Glass House."

There was 7 adults, a teenager, a toddler and two dogs staying and it was plenty big enough for all of us. The house is situated on a quiet street and is walking distance to the shops and beach. The only downside to our trip was the weather but that is out of everyone’s control. We would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Hunstanton.

  • "The house had lots of good points, and some not so good:- The shower in the ensuite had some mould and rust."

The downstairs toilet door scraped badly on the floor tiles Parking was really difficult when the people opposite parked outside their house, the street was so narrow that we driving towards the beach was difficult, I doubt if emergency vehicles could get through. Some splashback tiles at all the bathrooms would make them look much nicer and hide the cracked and broken paintwork.

Thank you for your feedback, we really appreciate it and have carried out the work suggested. Property Owner

  • "The size of the house was very nice."

The kitchen was new. There were plenty of glasses and mugs available. Cutlery and crockery supplies were good but pots and pans were so old looking and we didn't feel like using them. We had invited two other families ther. We realised the following morning that there was a big yellow stain on our white bedding. We were reluctant to sleep there and hopped the rooms offered our guests had better bedding. I was embarrassed to ask. There were no spare toilet rolls, specially for downstairs toilet where visited most. Hand wash and toiletries near to none.

  • "Fantastic house, love the open plan kitchen."

Plenty of room for 6 adults a teenager and two boys, plus 2 dogs. Great plus that we were allowed to leave the dogs in the house, pity more places don’t do that, we always miss out on castles and stately homes because they don’t allow dogs. Well equipped, could be a little cleaner, pillows stored on top of wardrobes were covered in dust. Dish washer leaking. Great family holiday

The house is beautifully laid out and there was a worry we would have to be on our best behaviour. We were able to relax and enjoy the home from home energy this letting exudes. Well kept, the owners are friendly and accommodating when contacted Highly recommend, great location and a warm friendly place to stay.

Very well equipped beautiful house, everything that you would need was provided. Great position, with access to all amenities on the seaside front. Very near bus routes to visit sites along the coast, some great walks nearby for all abilities. The local theatre was excellent, well worth a visit. The local eateries all good value and excellent quality. I would score our week at The Glasshouse 10 out of 10.

  • "Whilst one could have quibbles about some minor issues and details around the house, the Glass House is an extremely well located and comfortable holiday home and was more than spacious enough for our party of 8 ( 5 adults and 3 children)."

It was easy to arrange charging for an electric vehicle and the owner responded quickly to a minor issue we had. Overall, we were very pleased.

  • "Great place to stay."

Excellent location for walking to most facilities. Our family group of 3 generations enjoyed the open plan downstairs design with plenty of space for cooking, dining, sitting and children’s play. Very comfortable with the 3 bathrooms and the luxury of a separate tv room off limits to the toddlers! The house was very well equipped and the owner easily reached for a couple of queries on arrival. An outdoor tap would be a great addition for use on arrival back from the beach. Also the wonderful fitted wardrobes would benefit from some shelves. Thank you- we plan to return.

  • "Lovely home, just a few issues, didn't spoil our holiday but want to be honest about what customers expect."

Toilet seat in one of the ensuites was broken. The taps in the downstairs toilet are on the wrong way round. The showers do have mould in them which is easily removed. The taps have limescale on them which is also easily removed.I couldn't find any dusters or a full size sweeping brush to clean, so had to make do with the small one. The vacuum cleaner works but needs a good clean as it smells when you use it. It looks as if the cleaners only do a quick job and when we had to be out for 10am and can't get in until 5pm they have plenty of time.

  • "An excellent property - very well equipped, very comfortable, extremely clean."

It would appear that no expense has been spared in developing this property and we benefited from this. Sometimes listings can exaggerate but this listing was correct - it is only 5 minutes walk to the beach and 2 minutes to the nearest shop. We contacted the owner when the barbecue gas cylinder ran out - within half an hour, the cylinder was replaced - excellent service during our visit. Thank you!

There’s a Premier mini supermarket round the corner. The house is roomy comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. Hunstanton is a lovely resort and there are plenty of places not too far away to visit. Sandringham Estate and house is a 10 minutes drive and well worth a visit. Brancaster beach is really good, go early and park up for the day. There’s a good cafe and toilets at the beach. Really enjoyed the house and Norfolk.

We had a fantastic week in the glasshouse very comfortableI even met the owner on departure who cut his own grass which is a nice touch. The only slight issue was the access to the driveway which is heavily gravelled and was quite difficult but the owner advises us that this is to be replaced very soon. All in all an excellent holiday experience.
