  • "It was a lovely stay."

More than enough space for our large group and ensuite! Felt like we booked an entire hotel for ourselves. Our host was pleasant and they even found my daughter's missing ipad and complimented us on keeping the place spotless clean like our mama taught us

    It was immaculately clean.

  • "We had an amazing stay at clover court."

The house was clean with plenty of room for all nine of us. It was really close to the sea and amusements. We had a slight problem with the parking permits but the owner dealt with it quickly and efficiently for us. We hope to return again in the future.

  • "A spacious, clean, comfortable house that is ideally situated for the beach, shops and restaurants."

The kitchen was well equipped (apart from only having 14 mugs - our booking was for 16 people ) and the large dining table meant we could all easily eat together. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk were provided for our first day. We paid for extra parking permits and apart from the weekend, we had no difficulty finding parking spaces. We had a leaking shower and this, along with a couple of other maintenance issues, were swiftly dealt with. Clover Court is great value for money.

  • "We had the best time staying at Clover Court."

it was perfect for our two large families to come together, 13 adults, 4 children under 5 and a dog . Plenty of room for us all. The rooms all well appointed, especially the large dining table for us all to sit around together. Comfy and very clean. Close to all amenities in Great Yarmouth.

  • "My family and I throughly enjoyed our stay at Clover Court for 3 nights over New Year."

There were 10 adults & 3 children. The front room, leading into the dining area & kitchen was PERFECT. We loved the feel of all being together even when we were all doing our own thing (watching tv, cooking, eating or playing board games). Everyone slept well, and loved the location. The house was very clean & the owners kindly left us a couple of nice gifts. The Christmas decorations were so lovely too. The house had some wear and tear marks etc but that is expected in an older house and it didn't make any difference to our stay

  • "We had a lovely stay in Clover court."

The rooms were clean and the house well equipped. There was plenty of space for the 16 of us to enjoy each other’s company but also have room to retreat! The kitchen is large and well equipped and each of the rooms having their own en suite meant no queuing for the bathroom The living area is spacious and allowed us room to sit and read or watch TV and the large dining table was ideal for family meals The beach was within walking distance and dog friendly and we enjoyed swimming in the sea. The only downside was the previous occupants had taken the wifi router! The owner did his very best to replace this and get it working. It did, unfortunately mean we had to spend extra on wifi cloud connection for the first 4 days as myself, and 3 other family members had unavoidable work meetings whilst away.

  • "Positives - Spacious, nice bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms which is handy."

Kitchen decent size. Very close to beach and promenade and other amenities such as shops and supermarkets. Location is the main selling point. Owners very helpful when asked questions etc. Negatives- parking outside a lottery. Sinks very small in bathrooms. Can get v hot in the bedrooms - no fans or a/c so can be uncomfortable. Big dining table was very sticky. Had to clean countless times before could eat on it with children..WIFI very inconsistent.

  • "Very well equipped and worked very well for our party of 11 and two babies."

Very useful to have all en-suite bedrooms. Plenty of space for everyone. Ideally situated for the town, promenade and cinema. We got round the parking problem by buying a weekly ticket on line before we went then parked in Euston Rd and left the cars there. 2 of our party had the free parking permits and got spaces Monday.

  • "In general the property was clean, comfortable and warm, however there were some issues with the washing facilities."

One of the bedrooms had no running hot water from the tap and several of the en-suites had water damaged floors. A further shower when used overflowed into the courtyard. It would be helpful if there was more information as to what resources were available at the property, e.g. hairdryers, also we felt we needed the welcome pack information sooner. We had to start our journey the day before arrival date, and probably others will too because of large groups. Another set of keys would help a large party.

  • "I cannot recommend this property highly enough."

For a large family/party (including our beloved dogs) the property was absolute perfection. The living space, the dining area and the kitchen are perfectly proportioned and accommodating. All presented to high standards. The bedrooms were clean, perfectly presented, light and airy. The location was perfect. 3 minutes walk to the beach and facilities whilst being just far enough away to be quiet at night. I have recommended to friends and will continue to do so. Communication with owner and key holder was comforting. Local knowledge passed on from keyholder was very informative and helpful. A fantastic weekend enjoyed by all. Thank you

  • "We were very pleased with the property."

As a group we decided to make a fairly last minute booking and were after accommodation for 8 - 12 people as we were unsure if we would all be able / wish to go do to issues around Covid. The accommodation was therefore perfect in that there were 6 double rooms and 6 single rooms (although one of the single rooms was not really usable due to water ingress). It was in a great location and Ronald and Luke were very helpful. Luke met us at the property to explain check in and out arrangements. The kitchen was fully stocked, there was a washing machine, dishwasher etc... and we were very pleased with both the owners and property. Would recommend.

  • "I was uncertain about the booking due to the previous comments."

But I found the house spotlessly clean. The kitchen was great for family gatherings. Well equipped kitchen. It's not a new house but a traditional English seaside house with character and feel. Central to all amenities and we had no problem with the car parking. Lovely break with my family

  • "Some of the mattresses are very old and dirty."

They have clean mattress protectors on but, when stripping the beds at the end, the protectors came away too revealing very old mattresses. I didn't check all of them just the two I stripped. In May a review mentioned the stained settee. The owners answer was to cover up with what looked like quilted throws off the beds. They didn't fit well and were constantly slipping off the settee. The coffee table in the lounge which was originally black had chips of white all over it so it never looked clean. The vacuum cleaner didn't pick anything up. When I checked the brushes they were completely clogged with dirt, hair and fluff. It would have been a long job to breathe life back into it. I only hope the cleaners were using their own equipment. The owner needs to check that equipment is in a usable state. The wash basins in the bathrooms were very small and, with a glass shelf above, impossible to get your face over. I think the three star rating should really be 2 star. My family all agreed it felt like student digs. On the plus side the location is excellent. There was plenty of space for the 6 young children to run around. The kitchen was well equipped for a large group. You get parking for 2 cars for the week for free and extra parking permits are available for £5 for each 24hrs from the owner but you are not guaranteed a parking spot especially at the weekends. However, Sainsbury's is a 10 minute walk away and my son parked there for the week for £21. Finally be aware that because of Covid you can't get in the property until 5pm and you have to vacate at 9am. The cleaners arrived at 9.02am. These were not the times I was given when I made the booking earlier and it was quite a rush to get 9 adults and 6 children breakfasted, packed, beds stripped etc. and out by 9am on leaving day.

  • "As soon as we entered the cottage there was a very unpleasant distinguished smell."

The cottage was very unclean the sofas were stained like something I’ve never seen before and we could not sit on them without covering them. The dining table and stair case bannister was ever so sticky. We spent our first day cleaning. The parking was rarely available we spent our week parking a 10 minute walk away.

We are sorry to hear that you were hit with an unpleasant smell when you arrived at the property, if you had let us know about this during your stay we would have been able to investigate the smell and re-clean the property for you. Unfortunately, as we were not made aware of the issues at the time, we were unable to put things right for you. We are also sorry to hear that struggled to find a parking space near the property, we do provide 2 parking permits for our guests to use and parking spaces are on a first come first serve basis, however, we understand that it may have been more difficult for you to find a space due to the size of your 17 seater.
