• "Well Cottage is a beautiful property full of character and history but with every modern convenience."

  Everything that has been provided is high quality and a lot of thought and consideration has been used to ensure that everything you could need or want is supplied. Set in a quiet friendly village the cottage is well appointed to enjoy the delights of the North Norfolk coast and enjoy a truly relaxing holiday. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who appreciates style, comfort and character in peaceful scenic surroundings.

• "What a truly, truly wonderful find!"

  Well Cottage is a very lovely home, and we had two cracking weeks here. It is very comfortable, and very clean. We were impressed by the level of items in the kitchen. Unlike some cottages we have been to, there were plenty of dishwasher tablets, washing machine tablets & general kitchen supplies - brilliant!!! There is a wonderful high quality wood burner (it’s a Clearview model), in the cosy drawing room. There is also an extremely generous supply of logs, kindling & firelighters. The cottage is very warm, and unlike some cottages we have stayed in, you have total control over the heating system. The underfloor heating in the kitchen, utility room & bathroom is excellent. The shutters everywhere are another lovely and very classy touch! The cottage is set in a quiet spot, and is literally a minute walk from a well-stocked shop. Very handy for your newspaper! Another thing which is lovely, is that you aren’t living next to the owner, so you don’t feel that you are intruding in any way whilst staying here. Indeed, we didn’t even meet the owner, although I did speak to him (Andrew) to let him know that we had arrived and he was a very nice & very helpful. He encouraged us to phone him if there were any problems. The cottage is so well equipped & maintained we didn’t have one single issue during our stay! Andrew arranged for the cleaners to change the bedding & towels when we had been there one week, which was great. One other thing worth mentioning is that Sky TV is not only available, but there is also a recordable hard drive! We have never stayed anywhere with this facility! So should you wish to record something whilst you are out, it’ll be waiting for you when you get back to the cottage. This is an absolute superb idea and other owners who rent out holiday cottages should take note!!! This is really raising the bar! Well done!!! Finally, the location is absolutely wonderful. There are plenty of super places to visit within an easy drive. Including beautiful beaches, plus lovely towns like Holt. Norwich City is only 45 minutes away. Plus there is a plethora of stately homes nearby (including Sandringham). We have stayed at a lot of cottages over the years, and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Well Cottage for a lovely peaceful stay! Thank you very much Andrew for a perfect stay!

• "Well Cottage was wonderful."

  The weather was poor for our first couple of days so the comfy sofas, wifi and smart TV all performed and kept us happy. The owners have put alot of thought into the property and everything is finished to a high standard. They have even fitted a handrail to the stairs which was not on the web photos which pleased my wife no end. The property has so many original features that make it gorgeous but these are enhanced with all the mod cons to make it really livable. Thank you and we hope to be back in the future.

• "The property is absolutely fantastic."

  It is beautiful and in a wonderful location. The house has everything that you can need within in and caters for all your needs. There wasn't anything that we needed that we couldn't find at Well Cottage and the communication between myself and Andrew has been absolutely wonderful. Such a beautiful beautiful place. • "Well cottage was a lovely comfortable place to stay."

  It was very well equipped with everything you would need,and was spotlessly clean.We used it as a base to visit places in the surrounding areas. Cromer was only 50 minutes away with Holt as a nice stopover for coffee and cake.

• "Fantastic property."

  Beautiful and clean. Lovely welcome pack for arrival. Very well equipped -even had weighing scales! Beds very comfy. Great location easy to find and great parking. We really did enjoy our week here. A lot of thought had gone into setting up the property for holidaymakers. Communication with the owner was great too.

• "The cottage was delightful and there was everything there that we could possibly have wanted so thank you."

  It would have been helpful if in the summary it could have stated that there was a hairdryer, cafeteria and tea towels available and then we wouldn’t have taken any. Every detail in the cottage was thought about and everything was of a very high quality. Beautiful area to stay and lots to see. Loved it

• "An excellent choice, a stunning house just like the photos, I informed Andrew we would be a late evening arrival after our car had broken down the previous day meaning a 7 hr wait for a low loader."

  Andrew was so kind even placing extra groceries in the house so there would be food for the evening and breakfast the following day. I shall always be grateful for the kindness shown to my family thank you very much

• "Lovely cottage full of period features and superbly maintained."

  Extra details and little touches such as extended cooking utensils, aprons and ingredients were much appreciated. An excellent selection of reading matter is available in the cottage and further touches such as bathrobes and a Dyson fan, plus 2 hairdryers were really helpful. Cottage and garden are extremely comfortable and neighbour is very nice. Just one point to note is that the Sykes listing refers to a pub 0.1 miles away. This pub (the Bell Inn) is now just a B & B. This was no loss to us however as we had a great time staying in and enjoying our own cooking. We would thoroughly recommend Well Cottage for guests who enjoy exploring historic houses and local culture.

• "Superb cottage in nice village."

  Handy for nearby Norfolk attractions, Hunstanton, Kings Lynn, Sandringham etc. Ideal for nature lovers. We had an excellent week. Details on rubbish disposal in instruction book would help. Bathroom was great but a non-slip mat in shower might be a good idea.
