  Absolutely everything you could need is provided, hosts are very kind, lovely welcome package with home made bread and jam and other very kind treats, for dog as well as human. Would definitely recommend a stay in this cottage.

  A great welcome pack is left for you with cereal, milk, fruit juice and home made bread & jams. The accommodation is very well converted & thought out, plenty of room, more than enough pottery & pans, cleaning materials etc, even an umbrella. nicely located with easy access to West Norfolk and the surrounding areas. For some reason it all works like clockwork!

• "The cleanest property we've ever stayed in!"

  Very comfortable, and much appreciated welcome tray of goodies.( Marmalade was scrummy - home made). Seating area outside was lovely too. • "The property was very well equipped with everything we needed, even a slow cooker which we used."

  The lounge furniture and bed were comfortable. The welcome basket was much appreciated and delicious. We were personally welcomed by Tina and Alan which we appreciated. The property was ideally situated for where we wanted to visit and the village shop just a short walk away. It was an ideal home from home property.

• "Lillies Pad was absolutely gorgeous."

  We arrived to the warm, friendly cottage and were pleasantly surprised. Our hosts popped over to introduce themselves and were lovely. The decor and layout were perfect and we had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. It was so relaxing and peaceful. Just what we needed. The beds and sofa were so comfortable and the village was really sweet with a beautiful church and very friendly locals. We can’t wait to come back in the summer!

• "We have stayed in many holiday cottages, and the welcome pack at Lillies Pad was by far the most welcoming!"

  Fresh eggs, butter, milk, bread, tea, coffee, orange juice, cookies. There was even a welcome pack for our dog, including treats a dog towel. Arriving late after a 7 hour drive through the December rain, it was great to be able to walk into a warm cottage and immediately make ourselves comfortable.

  The cottage was spotless. Home from home. We were welcomed on arrival by the lovely hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them. A lovely touch was the welcome basket, lots of homemade goodies, thank you. Very comfortable and spacious for the two of us and our dog. Lovely outdoor area and garden. The bed was really comfortable and large bedroom. Lots of places to visit and a pub Green Man about 1 mile away that is dog friendly and serves lovely food. Loved Thetford Forest. Lovely village, we even went to a coffee morning at the church for tea and cake. Would highly recommend.

• "What a find!"

  We had such a warm welcome from Tina and Alan. We were delighted with their property, which was scrupulously clean and so inviting. The welcome pack was so delightful with home made bread and marmalade, plus local honey. There also breakfast goods, perfect if you arrive late and have had no time to shop. Most thoughtful, in our view, was the bowl of fresh water and biscuits for our dog, not to mention a fresh towel specifically for her if she got wet. The house is an ideal base for exploring. We visited Kings Lynn, Norwich and Bury St Edmunds . There are other treats in the area such as National Trust properties, a lovely antique centre on the road to King's Lynn and a quaint little train from Wells Next The Sea to Walsingham. Highly recommended.

  Everything needed for a few days away. Warm and comfortable. Very good water pressure on shower but a bath is also provided. Very friendly owners. Wish there were blackout blinds in the bedroom but that is the only criticism.

  The little touches put in place by the owners ie: fresh eggs by their own hens plus other essentials was perfect. The cottage was spotless and very clean. It’s very easy to find and in the perfect location for travelling around the local area. It’s the best cottage we have stayed in for the last few years. • "The owners wanted to provide a home from home experience in the cottage and that is what they did achieve."

  The cottage was very clean, well fitted out and every time you thought I wonder if there is any .........( eg. toilet cleaner, tissues, bin liners etc.etc ) we were able to find what we needed. The emailed house details prior to arriving was particularly helpful and fully up to date ( unlike some properties we have been in recently). A really good experience and a lovely property. The front garden has been improved since the pictures on the Sykes website and it was lovely to watch the birds in the bird bath.

  Paint but due to my difficulty with my leg I found it impossible to get into the bath. If anyone else visits with similar problems it would help if they were aware of the situation. Everything else was great property immaculate very friendly owners.
