  • "Ery clean and comfortable cottage."

Everything we needed was provided and in a good position for the shops etc. The only problem I found the downstairs toilet too low.

  • "The property was excellent and our stay most enjoyable."

the only thing which would have been nice was a mop or queazy as when entering in the rain especially with a dog, no means of wiping up the wet floor, as if anyone staying this week will find out as the force act is for rain most of the week. it would have been nice to find a visiter's book, only small things, but overall BRILLIANT.

Well equipped for all our needs, excellent broadband, off road parking, comfortable beds and good shower. The area is ideal for the Royal coast, a walk to the beach and short drive to many other attractions.

Close to beaches, shops, pub and fish and chip shop. Sunday roast at Fox and Hounds (5 minute walk away) best we’ve ever had. Quite small for 4 adults but ideal for 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 small children. Would cone back but dog was not happy with pebbled secure front garden. Overall it was a lovely cottage but prefer grass lawned garden

The position and surrounding areas are great. Plenty of eating choices, including Chinese and Indian. A bonus for us would have been a washing machine instead of a dishwasher bit it was very comfortable and warm. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would go back.

Exceptionally clean & well laid out. We where lucky with the weather so where able to enjoy a glass of two in the front garden at the table & chairs supplied. The property is in a quite location. Would book again if looking to stay in the Hunstanton area in the future.

We did lots of walking and found Tawny Cottage to be centrally located. Compact but loads of room for two of us. Shops, pubs and an excellent Chinese restaurant nearby.

  • "Tawny cottage was without doubt the best equipped holiday rental we have ever used."

Everything needed for proper cooking was provided in the kitchen, I couldn’t think of anything we needed that was not there. The whole cottage was spotlessly clean, comfortably warm & very cosy. An enclosed garden & dedicated parking space helped to make this a perfect place for a holiday

  • "Very attractive and clean cottage with refurbished bathroom and well equipped."

Compact, but ideal for two people. Parking so easy and front garden ideal with a small dog. Heacham is an unusual but charactful place with bakers, Tesco , pubs and takeaways near to the cottage. I would highly recommend

The cottage was lovely and warm, with a well equipped kitchen. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the bedrooms were well laid out. The enclosed garden on the front was ideal for our dog. The off-road parking was a real bonus as it would’ve been a nightmare to try and park on the street. Would definitely return to this cottage.

  • "The excellent farm shop and cafe at the lavender farm is not mentioned in the details."

The Fox and Hounds pub does not look promising from the outside but it provides a first rate Sunday lunch. The bus service to Kings Lynn and Hunstanton runs every 15 minutes from the end of the road.

  • "We had a lovely stay at Tawny Cottage."

Everything was as anticipated. Instructions clear and accurate. The cottage was a good temperature on arrival and the heating really easy to control. It was really good to have the dedicated parking space as the street is not wide and all the parking taken most evenings. So the fenced space in front of the cottage was so obviously to do with the cottage no one else was going to use it. We walked to The West Norfolk for a meal which was good value and the staff friendly and welcoming. We didn't get around to sampling the fish and chips form the near by chippy! Tawny Cottage is in a great location for exploring this bit of the Norfolk coast which was beautiful despite the low temperatures. Wild Ken worth a visit and the thousands of Pink Footed Geese leaving the Wash at 7am seen from Snettisham sea wall just magical. Welney is only 45 minutes away. A great place to stay.
