  • "Lovely hosts, gave us plenty of useful information."

Made us and animals very welcome. Ideally situated for all activities and interests. Good bus service but plenty of excellent shops etc locally.

Glad your move went as well as it could do Property Owner

  • "Friendly welcome."

Good location.excellent welcome pack Let down by cleanliness.not dog safe due to busy road and not offered use of garden by owners but directed to field 400 yards away. Not acceptable as road pitch black at night.small courtyard not adequate

unfortunately you don't get street light in the countryside but a torch was available Property Owner

  • "Had booked for the week, left after the first night - it was that bad!"

Bedding, mattresses and pillows with disgusting stains, bed with woodworm and dust, hair and cobwebs on the frame and floor. Curtains from the seventies. Lights not working, no lids for saucepans, freezing cold and damp on arrival and a hostess that wouldn’t leave us alone on arrival for 15 mins. Large black tent right outside bedroom window? Also position misrepresented on Sykes website, which makes it appear like it’s right on the Broads waterway when it’s actually on a very busy main road that’s pretty dangerous if you have a dog, with no direct acess to the waterfront

any legitimate concerns have been rectified Property Owner

  • "Excellent location for touring the Norfolk Broads, Norwich, Gt."

Yarmouth which are all in easy reach. Very friendly and helpful owner who supplied us with loads of useful information. The cottage although fairly small was very well presented and it was nice to see that we had been left bread, butter, eggs etc on our arrival to get us going. I would say this is an ideal location for a couple (with or without dogs). Highly recommended!!!

Glad you had a nice time always so much to do and see here Property Owner

  • "It was so lovely to arrive and find the makings for a cuppa waiting for us, plus a small supply of treats for our dog."

The friendly owner met us as we were unpacking to show us around the outside seating and where to find the bins etc. The cottage is on a fairly busy road but has off-road parking and everything we needed for a comfy week away. There are dog walks and pub meals in easy walking distance, beaches and woods a short drive away - what more could you and your dog want?

Glad you and doggy enjoyed your stay. Yes its certainly a good place for dog walking and beaches one of which is DOG friendly all YEAR round Property Owner

  • "Clare gave us and our little Jack Russell a warm welcome on our arrival and passed on many recommendations for places to visit and eat which made our break very enjoyable."

The facilities were comfortable and clean, situated on a main road but it didn't effect us getting a good night's sleep. Very small enclosed area for dogs but a park nearby.

Glad you enjoyed your stay hopefully see you again next year and the weather was kind Regards Clare Property Owner

  • "Shortly after arrival, we were met by the host."

She was both friendly and cheerful and full of helpful tips for places to visit in the local area. She also told us details of local pubs and restaurants where we could go to eat. We visited some very interesting places and sites which were quite close to 'Paws a while.' The accomodation was just what we had hoped for and situated perfectly for visiting the beautiful area of the Norfolk Broads. Thanks very much for everything. It made our short break very enjoyable.

Many thanks for your feedback we try to help our guests as much as possible with things to do and see. Hopefully we will see you again with or without top box!! Property Owner

  • "There is no mobile phone coverage at the property and the wi-fi is very unreliable."

I think the listing should say this, so that people who need connectivity (as we did, because we were in the midst of a house move) are able to make an informed choice. Generally the property needs updating - all of the appliances and the TV are very elderly and the soft furnishings are similarly worn. The curtains had been reversed to try to conceal that they were faded. The property is next to quite a busy road and road noise is significant from about 6.00 am.

Moving house can be very stressful. Especial when things go wrong and your solicitor goes on holiday. However this is no reason to leave unfair and inaccurate reviews. the cottage was refurbish this year with new appliances. The phone signal is poor but the WIFI is stable. We would always recommend turning on WIFI calling. to alleviate this problem. Property Owner

Thank you for your kind words and hopefully see you next year Property Owner
