  • "The property was perfect."

It was so beautiful and all the small touches made such a difference. Both my hard to please teenagers loved the rooms and the beds were so comfortable. The garden is such a sun trap, especially in the mornings, it was like being abroad. We had the most wonderful holiday and it was the perfect base for our family.

  • "Lovely place to stay, near beach and the shops and lovely owner."

The only thing I found was the wardrobe in double bedroom wasn't sturdy and curtain pole end fell in the middle of the night but overall fantastic stay and would definitely come to stay here again.

  • "Fabulous property, loved its quirks and has everything you would need."

A real home from home. Great spot, 2 mins walk to the seafront and 5 mimutes walk into town and all the amenities but such a lovely quiet road! The most comfortable bed too! Lovely town and people, so dog friendly and everywhere welcomes our four legged friends. Lovely walk to Old Hunstanton beach along the cliffs. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

  • "Very clean, well decorated property with comfy beds."

Always a must. Incredible location for the sea 5min walk and the town. Good eating places in town and lots of shops all on the doorstep. I gave it four stars rather than five because of a downstairs bathroom, not the owners fault, entirely mine for not reading the information properly. It was a beautiful bathroom and we had no problems but we are both mid to late 70s so it’s better for us to have a loo upstairs too. Thank you for a great stay. Newly decorated too so was lovely.

  • "Was a very nice comfortable house with quirky decor and well equipped with good sleeping arrangements."

My only suggestion would be it would be helpful to have a seperate fan heater from the central heating for chilly evenings like now in April to put on when just some heating is needed.

Loved the decor, beds were extremely comfortable. House situated in a great location, so close to everything yet still quiet so a good nights sleep had. Nice personal touches (ie Easter egg). Lovely enclosed garden for our dog.

  • "Lovely stay at The Bird House."

The property is situated on a quiet street, a short walk from the seafront and entertainment, which was fantastic for our son. Tesco is a short walk away. We took a drive to other areas, such as Brancaster and Sheringham, but you could have a lovely time without getting in the car once. A great location for families or couples, lots to do locally and a super comfortable base to relax.

Well placed for leaving the car behind and taking trips to local towns on the bus. Much easier than trying to park in a strange place. Would recommend.

  • "Great house with quirky decor !"

! Fantastic location just a few minutes walk to the town and beach, also minutes away from a large Tesco store which was really convienient. Located in a very quiet residential street with no parking issues. Also dog friendly so the enclosed garden was a massive bonus for us well as it being a nice sunny area to spend time in. Well equipped kitchen with appliacnes that looked relatively new and a good standard throughout the house. Great place to spend the week Highly recommended !

  • "We had a wonderful stay at The Bird House."

The house is in a great location, and even with a young child in tow it was only a 5 minute walk to the beach and our favourite ice cream parlour in Hunstanton, East Coast Gelato. Being so close to the beach meant we could go everyday. The master bedroom and single room are both big enough for a travel cot. The top of the stairs is a little tricky for younger children although we managed fine and the owner kindly offered to fit an extra stair gate for us. We had no trouble with the on-street parking and always managed to park right outside the house or just 1 house away. The kitchen is really well stocked and had everything we needed. The house has a lovely homely feel to it and we may well book a stay again in the future!

Very secure garden for the dog plus lovely to sit out with a glass or two. The only negative was the beds were a bit soft and I would suggest investing in some better mattresses. Other than that it was excellent!

Thank you for your lovely comments and feedback on the mattresses which we have taken onboard and have upgraded. Property Owner
