• "The place was cozy, clean and warm with a welcome tray of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits!"

  There was a trainer toilet seat and beach toys for children. There was a stool for the shower if needed and plenty of toilet rolls. Towels were lovely and soft. Tea towels were provided. There was also cleaning equipment! The bed was comfortable with pretty bedding. Hot water bottles were also available as well as an electric fire in case you got chilly. Lots of DVDs to suit everyone. We had a lovely, peaceful time and would definitely go again.

• "Spotlessly clean and well appointed cottage."

  So much care has gone into making this a most enjoyable place to stay. So many “ extras”. The welcome tray even had decaf coffee, most unusual but very welcome. Fixtures and furnishings are many , all in good order and maintain a warm welcoming ambiance of a seaside cottage. Generally the cottage is well situated in a private well maintained complex with unobstructed sea views. All in all a most pleasant stay, highly recommend it and needless to say, we shall be back!

• "Our first stay at Sunrise, and it won't be the last."

  ....definitely a five stars score....it had everything we needed and more. We used it as a base for visiting various nature reserves, and to come back to the cottage after a long days walking was lovely. Sitting in the porch/conservatory , with the early morning cuppa, watching birds, the sea and ships was an ideal way to start the day. An excellent place to stay.

  The area around Sunrise Cottage is very quiet with no passing traffic. Ideal location for visits to Southwold,Lowestoft, The Broads and Gt Yarmouth.

• "Perfect place for some rest & relaxation!"

  Fabulous sea views and a good base to travel along the coast to Lowestoft & Gt. Yarmouth. The cottage has everything you need for a very comfortable stay and was immaculate, loved the attention to detail of the decor in every room. It was a home from home we would love to return in the summer months.

• "Lovely comfortable cottage in a quiet but central position, with a sea view."

  Cottage very well equipped and decorated. Easy access to walks, shops etc and to the main A12 by car. Lots of attractions within easy reach.There is a good bus service to Lowestoft, Norwich and Southwold too. But the best thing was the peaceful location. Felt really rested.

• "We were lucky to see the owner as we got to the car park and she gave us a lot of useful local information."

  At the cottage we were very pleased with the cleanliness and the equipment in the cottage left nothing wanting, in all we were very comfortable and the bathroom was very good. The view was the icing on the cake across the lawns strait over the dunes to the sea and plenty of booklets with interesting walks and plenty of good eating places locally.

  It was well decorated to provide a homely and cosy feel. It was comfortable and exceptionally well appointed with more than ample cutlery and crockery etc. Everything was fully catered for and was the perfect base for a relaxing holiday. You could not do better.

  Had everything we wanted and was very well located near the Suffolk Coastal Path, with a clear view of the sunrise. Our first time in the area which we found fascinating. The countryside and coast was fascinating; we did a lot of walking and running. So many nice resorts nearby and many upmarket villages and towns e.g. Dunwich. We got to see the Broads as well and many historical places including Framlingham Castle, Sutton Ho and even Great Yarmouth with the faded grandeur of its Golden Mile.

• "When we arrived the owners of the property met us and kindly helped with our cases to the property they then showed us where everything was."

  After they had left we found extra treats as in a box of biscuits and maltesers. We have been doing self catering holidays for forty years and we can honestly say this property is way and above anything we have been to before and when we visit this area again sunrise will be our first choice.
