  • "Lovely friendly owners and fabulous wildlife as i am of an older generation it would have been nice to have the option of chooseing when i could have some heating on."

Unfortuneatly the tv was too small to read the guide so had to guess what i was watching. All that said they were a lovely host. Loved the donkeys.

  • "We had a fabulous time."

Accommodation was fantastic with everything you need. Very quiet with beautiful surroundings. Lovely to see donkeys in the field and in early evening spotted deer. Little extras like delicious eggs, milk, wine, marmalade and local cake was a lovely surprise.

  • "Very friendly Owners who were more than happy to help if you should have needed anything (which we didn't)."

We are missing their two gorgeous dogs. Lovely outlook onto fields with the resident Donkeys, Chickens, visiting Deer and other Wildlife. An escape for a short while which we very much enjoyed.

  • "An excellent all round property with good access to attractions in Norfolk/Suffolk."

Yes it is close to the A11 but the road noise is minimal inside and outside of the property and didn't spoil a great week. The Owners (Dudley and Rachel) couldn't be more accommodating and friendly (also leaving a really nice welcome gift which was very much appreciated especially the farm eggs) and were there if we needed anything (We didn't). If we are ever in the area again would happily consider staying again.

It was the best stay we have ever had anywhere. Dudley and Rachel were delightful hosts, they have thought of everything , nothing was too much trouble. Free range eggs available, you just have to ask., we had a great welcome pack waiting for us, the bottle of wine was most welcome. It’s a great location, lots to do locally,. Lovely private patio with the field of horses and donkeys just over the fence .great to sit out on a warm day.. It really cannot be recommended highly enough ,we can’t wait to return.

  • "We had a lovely time at Remus with our 2 young grandchildren."

The property was well presented, warm, clean and cosy, we were made to feel very welcome by Dudley and his wife. The property is ideally located and easily accessible on a working farm, close to the A11, pub/restaurants, local amenities and shops at East Harling. Thetford and the forest are nearby, as well as Banham Zoo and Swallow Aquatics only about 2 miles away, but well worth a vist to see the amazing variety of fish, birds and reptiles. It is well equipped, comfortable and very warm with underfloor heating and a log burner in the lounge, alongside a nice patio'd garden that the children enjoyed feeding the donkeys and horses from. We highly recommend staying at this lovely property, it has everything for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Thank you!!
