  • "Second time in this chalet."

It's ideal. Clean and has everything we need. Great location. Trying to see dates for next year but looks fully booked!

  • "The chalet was fine and comfortable."

Nice to have the wifi. The fridge, as per last year, could have been a little cleaner inside. The shelf rungs were a bit dirty. Otherwise, all good.

Also made a financial contribution for the inconvenience which was much appreciated

  • "A lovely little chalet situated in a quiet position ."

Perfect location for walking the dog, only 5 mins to back of the chalet park and 10 mins to beach. Wanted doors open so placed some trellis across to stop dog from wandering. Had everything we needed and nice and clean. Would visit again.

Electric socket with sticker on it that said works intermittently.dining chair seat laminates split harsh on the hands pillows need replacing loose screw In bunk bed ladder needs tightening hot water was set at scalding temp blind chains are not secured a lock on bathroom that works would be good .television not up to job sound distorts remote had a loose back as we had secure with tape so child did not get hold of batteries. Lovely setting and enjoyed the area with a little maintainence and it would have been good compared to 150 which we also rented for the week that did have these problems.

  • "We stayed at this chalet for one week, the area and surroundings are beautiful, large field adjoining sand dunes down to the most beautiful beach."

Parking was only 100 metres away and there were ample spaces. The chalet itself faces the back of other chalet's and is in full sun all day long which we found fantastic but very hot! Within the chalet i would describe it as worn, paper stripping off the walls, stagnant water in the gully of the large sliding doors which had turned green emitting a slight smell and further bubbling stripping wallpaper throughout the property, there were blown lightbulbs in the kitchen area and the tv had an issue with its sound. Having said that i would like to point out we just used this chalet as a sleeping stop and spent all the 7 days we were there out of the property exploring great Yarmouth and all its history. I would stay at this site again but not necessarily this chalet.

  • "154 was very clean and well equipped."

As far as maintenance is concerned, the cupboard behind the shower, where the sun loungers were kept, had an area of damp and mould that needs addressing, as mould spores lead to respiratory problems. With no owner or maintenance contact details, there was no-one to whom we could report this. Also, there was no power one morning, and we realised that there is no emergency contact number in the chalet. Having said that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful peaceful location.

Thank you for your comments. We have just been made aware of the mould issue and have sent a builder round to investigate. If you have any issues you call Sykes and they contact the owner or maintenance team on our behalf. Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely stay at 154 for a few days in September."

The chalet is in a good position on the site and very peaceful. The chalet was clean and well equipped although we suggest that it would benefit from a fan during the hot weather and an outside table and chairs. The site is clean and very well maintained.

  • "The accuracy of the listing is poor and misleading as it says that there is a private patio, there isn't you sit on some slabs in a communal garden."

The area and chalets are extremely quiet which is brilliant and you are 5 mins from the beach and you can easily walk the dunes to Hembsy or Winterton on sea. The WiFi is confusing as there are two passwords and one of them which is the correct password isn't clear and could easily be fixed as part id typed the other is written. Others have commented that a fan would be beneficial and I agree as it is very stuffy and would not cost much to buy. Lots of cupboards with a variety of cooking utensils however doesn't leave much else for food. Again no plugs in bedroom which is annoying. All in all a lovely stay with a great location.

  • "The chalet was as described inside, however use of the words enclosed and private in reference to the back 'garden' are very misleading."

There is no private patio, it is accessible to anyone walking past. Also as there as are no net curtains/voiles at the French doors anyone walking across the communal lawn can look in, and did at least once when we were eating. We also had to clean the bath mat before using the shower as it was mouldy.

No where to put your food as cupboards are full. Dog friendly no guard for door so when we opened the door as it was 28 degrees we used a wooden chair. No plug in main bedroom. No room in the bed I’m 6foot and feet over edge. Cupboards too close to double bed. 5 minutes walk to beach down and up a large sand hills not good for the elderly wouldn’t stop here if it was a £1
