  • "A little smaller than the last chalet we had."

I didn't realise there were 2 sizes. Buy it was very clean and the owner very kindly came out from Norwich because we couldn't work the tv! Haha. So she fixed it for us. Very happy to highly recommend this chalet. Its at the back of the park and gets the sun all day! Wonderful.

It had everything we needed for a family holiday and even buckets and spades etc for the beach which is a lovely extra! The Tesco around the corner is extremely handy too! We had a great week and hope to return.

Great base to explore and visit family. Very accommodating and friendly owners. Great to reminisce with my kids back to the village where my grandparnets used to live exploring childhood haunts. Great amenities, small and compact, homely and comfortable. Only negative... couldn't find a cheese grater!!

My husband is severely disabled, and the lay out was better than some places we have stayed, they even advertise they are disabled friendly. It was clean and well maintained.

  • "This chalet is a nice base, great location for the village and walks around the area and coast."

We found the chalet has limited sockets and when we moved the double bed to get to the sockets behind it we found mould spores. We had to clean the bathroom when we arrived. There was no bottle opener. The DAB radio in the kitchen did not work. There is no shaver socket. We noticed lots of cobwebs behind the blinds and when we moved the tray on top of the fridge a large spider appeared and went under the fridge. When we moved the bin in the kitchen to empty it there was a spider hiding behind it. Other than this we found dog biscuits, cake, milk in the fridge, tea, coffee, sugar, salt, vinegar and the village has a nice beach cafe and two chippies. Can recommend.

Hello Could you please message me with what needed doing in the bathroom so that I can pass that on to the cleaner. The cleaner is now aware of the mould problem you encountered, and as I explained the chalet does need to be aired out especially in damp weather. I also apologise about the radio, the signal on the coast is sometimes a bit difficult, either nothing or most of Europe's stations! Despite the problems I do hope that you enjoyed your week Property Owner

Only complaint is the beds and sofa are very low and a larger armchair to replace one of the small yellow ones would be better . Otherwise happy with our stay in the chalet .Mundesley is a lovely village with a superb beach .

  • "Lovely chalet which was very clean and well equipped throughout."

The decor and furnishings were excellent and all the equipment of good quality. As there were only 2 of us in the accommodation the space was adequate although it would be a bit cramped for 4 (especially the kitchen area). The Siesta Mar Chalet Park was well maintained and ideal for the local Tesco Express (just 50 yards away) and close to the centre of Mundesley. One request would be for more cupboard or shelving in the kitchen area to store food items.

Many thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We're so pleased that you enjoyed your stay in our chalet Property Owner

When arrived with my 90 year old dad and sister we were disappointed to find a high step to enter chalet which my dad had very difficulty getting up ,then on pathway you have a bench sitting on pathway which left a very narrow pathway for my dad to get by with his walking sticks ,no outside light which also found hard to see after returning from day out, single beds very hard to sleep on,apart from those issue we had a nice time in Norfolk and surrounding areas,

A peaceful location which is close to the beach. The surrounding gounds are very well kept and the residents/guests are very friendly and welcoming. Sadly, the fixtures and fittings, especially the bathroom, are showing signs of age, they are very very tired and in need of a face-lift and a really good clean. The double bed is a little small. Mundesley is a lovely seaside village great beach and super dog friendly. Nice pub/club and Chinese takeaway. Overall we would recommend and we enjoyed our stay thank you.

The only problems were that the bathroom was a bit “tired” and could do with a good floor clean and re grout. Also there were brand new fluffy towels but they had marks on them - they had probably been dropped or something but I think they should have been washed before being used. For the most part it was a great well equipped comfy chalet.

  • "Nice chalet."

Good sofa, beds, linen, utensils and TV. Great to have Netflix. Lounge chairs and covers not good. Decor dated and painted furniture needs touching up. The only real negative was the water pressure but I imagine this can't be helped. Also not sure if heating is sufficient, may get cold in winter, we were ok in mild October. All in all was a good little base and we appreciated all the little improvements and modernisation that was apparent.

  • "We had an excellent week at The Nook."

Having stayed in a few mediocre seaside chalets over the years, The Nook was a breath of fresh (sea) air, decorated to a high standard with quality fittings. The site itself was quiet (although it was October), with no noisy clubhouse etc. The sea is a short walk away (note that like many Norfolk beaches you have to go down steep steps or slopes to access at any point). All the local attractions were in easy reach, with Cromer, Sherringham and National Trust properties well worth a visit. All in all an excellent chalet and would highly recommend to others. (Note for anyone with mobility difficulties - the double bed is quite low as are two of the chairs in the living room, the sofa is soft, which may be ideal for some but difficult for others to get up from. The dining chairs can be easily utilised instead.)
