  • "We stayed in the marina's cottage for a week in October."

We stayed with family members so there were 5 adults and a baby. We absolutely loved our stay here. It was comfortable and very spacious, it was bigger than we had thought judging by the photos. The location was amazing with the beach a few minutes walk away. Perfect for a morning dog walk which we thoroughly enjoyed. The house was clean, warm and comfortable. It had everything we could need and more. We did have a problem while we were there and this was resolved very quickly by the owner nothing was too much trouble. If I had to make one critism it would be to have larger beds in the front 2 bedrooms as the beds were very small extremely comfortable but small. We had an amazing time at this property and would highly recommend and we would visit again. Thank you for everything

  • "The property smelled slightly of damp when we arrived, particularly in the kitchen area, but once we had opened windows and ‘lived’ in it for a day or so the smell cleared."

Apart from that the property was excellent and the owner responded immediately to a small query we had. All in all we had a fabulous week away. Thank you

  • "Marina’s cottage was a lovely place to stay."

Very comfortable and a good location with a quiet pub across the road, the beach a very short walk away and a shop down the road. The photos of the cottage don’t do it justice, both the kitchen and bathroom are beautifully done. Would recommend to anyone.

  • "We had a lovely September break here with my husband’s family - even my mother in law (lovely, but with famously exacting standards) was extremely favourably impressed."

The owner was very helpful and responsive and provided two cots, two high chairs and a stair gate as we had two babies and a toddler with us, plus dog. The house and garden are very comfortable, spacious and well equipped, with some extras such as buckets and spades, and the bathroom is fab. The location is also great - about 30 seconds walk from the pub, and only a few minutes from the local shop and the beach. The sea was very warm, and we swam and saw a seal which was a bonus. A great place to stay.

  • "Fabulous stay at this gorgeous cottage."

Perfect for family catch up and the opportunity to enjoy the beach, which is 1 min away. The cottage is beautifully furnished and the kitchen is a dream. We enjoyed lazy chilled afternoons in the courtyard garden and our dog was so comfortable. We would highly recommend and will definitely return to this wonderful home. Thank you for answering my queries so promptly and the fresh flowers on our arrival. We can’t wait to come back.

  • "We had such a wonderful stay - every last detail was thought about and we were so comfortable throughout - would definitely come back."

It may be worth advising the guests that glass can't be put in the recycling bin, because we unwittingly did and it wasn't collected and we had to make a trip to the dump! Thanks for a great stay!

  • "Beautiful property in an incredible location, so close to the beautiful beach!"

Excellent facilities, everything we could’ve needed was provided. The owner was very easy to contact and friendly but not overbearing at all (we did not see her during our stay but were in touch via text, which was perfect for us). The house is spacious, well decorated, and warm and cosy. Plenty of space for the 8 adults that stayed (although the twin room was a little smaller than we expected, it was still comfortable and worked for us!). Parking was easy and convenient, both on the drive and on the road. Would definitely return to Marina’s cottage!

  • "The property is both spacious and homely with some beautiful artwork and lovely touches."

The kitchen well equipped with a large dining table which comfortably seated us all for Christmas dinner. The wood burning stove made the large sitting room feel warm and cosy. Things like the TV and heating are all modern and easy to use. The beds are very comfortable and the bedrooms a good size with plenty of wardrobe space - there were no fights over who had the best rooms! The location is ideal - opposite a beautiful windswept (it was December) beach with sand dunes where you can watch the seals in the water. The owner was lovely and left welcome gifts and messages and responded to queries instantly. We had a wonderful stay and I hope to come back again.

Location was ideal with close access to the beach and local pub / restaurant "The Jolly Sailor" was always welcoming and accommodated us for food and drinks.
