"Ideally located just a ten minute walk into town, we found the property to be comfortable and very quiet."
There were only two of us staying but there would be plenty of room for a family and the kitchen was well equipped. The garden is a good size although we did not use it due to the time of year. There is easily space for two cars on the driveway. I called the owner to get the key press number and he was very pleasant and informative. A great location for Cromer and the surronding area.

"A lovely bungalow, very comfortable, clean and very well equipped."
It's in a quiet location with an easy walk into Cromer and also a 10 minute walk to Roughton Road railway station which we used for trains to Norwich and Wroxham. We would certainly recommend it and hope to stay there again

"We were very pleased with the property once again."
The only complaint we had was the bottom bunk mattress was still uncomfortable; think it needs changing. Everything else was excellent.; Tony, the owner, is very helpful. Location very quiet but accessible to the town and seafront.

"My husband & I had a lovely week in Norfolk the weather was lovely to."
We were very happy staying at Mayfield Drive, the property had everything we could possibly ask for.Loo paper down to kitchen products like baco foil cling film etc.The bungalow is is in a very quiet location & that was a bonus to .We walked down into Cromer which only took us about 15mins.We wouldn't hesitate to return to Mayfield drive in the future.Thank you to the owners for letting us stay in their lovely bungalow.

"First impressions of Mayfield weren’t good as we were greeted with dirt on the Hall carpet as we opened the door."
We had a long journey with very busy traffic, therefore we were ready for a cup of tea on arrival. To our disappointment there was no welcome pack, only a few coffee sachets & teabags & no fresh milk in the fridge, not even 1 pint, however we did find some milk sachets that were 6 months out of date. The beds available consisted of 4 off 2ft 6inch mattresses each, which could be put together for 2 adults, but we still had to sleep on bunk bed size mattresses. On the plus side the bedding & towels were very good and clean + the neighbourhood was quiet & ideally located in Cromer. The lounge area felt very sterile with no cushions on the sofa to help you relax after a busy day. Cleanliness of Mayfield wasn’t to a great standard, we didn’t use the washing up bowl provided in the kitchen as it was thick with grease, the sink had no plug to use. Although the sink & bath were clean, it was obvious that the toilet had not been given the same attention at the bottom of the pan. The bungalow has access issues into the back garden, you have to go out of the front door and go through a bolted gate into the back, this would lead to concerns of safe play for toddlers outside the home. We were due to stay until Friday but decided to leave on Wednesday as we didn’t sleep well due to the tiny width of the mattresses, it would have been much better with 3ft mattresses as there is plenty of room in the bedrooms for them. We have stayed in many Sykes listed cottages over the years but have to say this is not one of the best.

"A very enjoyable stay ,the bungalow is good base to explore the Norfolk coast."
Easy walk into Cromer , and a short drive to Wells-next-the-Sea and other interesting areas .The accommodation is clean and tidy and everything works.
-
"Comfortable bungalow in a pleasant, quiet, location."
Well equipped.
-
"The owner was very helpful in the information provided by phone before our visit."
He had marked a local footpath on one of the in-house leaflets. This gave a pleasant route down to the coast in only 10 minutes. A 6 minute drive took us to Felbrigg Hall and another short drive to Sheringham Park National Trust properties. The coast footpath to Overstrand was very enjoyable and we could use the Coast hopper bus back to Cromer. A pleasantly situated, well equipped, comfortable bungalow.
-
"Very comfortable property with more than enough equipment, cutlery and crockery."
Nice enclosed garden for small children to play safely. Tv/Humax box is tricky to sort out, but fortunately we had an 8 year old with us!
-
"Great location within easy walking distance to Cromer."
Very well equipped property and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable, great to have a phone call from the owner 2 days before arrival and email all the information .Would recommend.
-
"Lovely clean and tidy bungalow in a good location with parking for 2/3 cars."
All few days before I received a call from the owner with all the details needed for our stay, plus a follow up email with all the information which was very helpful. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk was available to use on arrival. 2 sofas in the lounge, so seating for 5 people. Dining table seats 6, plus there's a highchair available too. Cupboard with various games and dvds. 3 bedrooms, two doubles. We slept in the one opposite the bathroom and there was room for a travel cot (we took our own, but there was one in the cupboard), the bed was too firm for us, but that's down to personal preference. The bunk beds were good for kids, the bottom bunk was rather low, perfect for our 3 year old. The kitchen is well equipped with lots of pans, plates, cups etc. Dishwasher works well and there salt and rinse aid if needed, plus tablets to use. The washing machine is a washer/drier which worked well. There was cling film and other extras available to use which were very handy. The bathroom is a good size and has a big bath with shower over. (a grab rail would be useful on the bath to help getting in/out). We didn't use the garden but it looked a good size with some garden furniture. We ordered Chinese takeaway one night from the menus available 'Kantar' (red leaflet), they don't deliver so went to collect and food was really good, definitely recommended if looking for a Chinese takeaway. There's a nortic theme throughout which is lovely. Overall a great place to stay thats clean tidy and comfortable.

"A very clean, comfortable bungalow, in a quiet cul-de-sac close to Cromer pier."
Excellent facilities. A good base for visiting a lovely part of the country. Really nice owner.
-
"The property was well equipped, clean and comfortable with plenty of parking."
A no pets policy was good as one of our party has allergies. Would definitely stay again at this property. A short walk into the town centre.
-
"Garden chairs would have been useful."
The weather wasn’t brilliant but the bit of sun we had was an opportunity to enjoy the garden
-
"Everything we needed was there."
A great base and nice to come back to after our busy days out.
-
"This is a comfortable and clean well maintained bungalow."
It enjoys a quiet cul de sac location within about a ten minute walk of the town centre.
-
"Really enjoyed Mayfield Drive again, great location just a few minutes walk from town and sea."
Well equipped, comfortable and always clean.
-
"Another great holiday at Mayfield Drive."
As always, we were very comfortable and had a lovely week. Very quiet location yet handy for Cromer town centre. Very satisfied.
-
"Although the garden is enclosed you can't access it directly from the house, you need to go out the front door and then through the gate."
We have 2 young children and this made it difficult when they wanted to play outside.
-
"We were very happy with pretty much everything about the accommodation."
The location is ideal and the property had everything we needed. We loved the welcoming touch of the tea, coffee, milk and biscuits on arrival. The kitchen was very well equipped and it was lovely to be in such a peaceful area yet so much was within easy reach. The only thing we struggled with was operating the key lock but we got there in the end. The garden was nice and secluded but the garden furniture could do with a bit of a clean. We'd definitely be happy to come again.

"We enjoyed our stay but felt instructions were needed for all appliances and equipment."
Regrets plumber had to be called twice for blocked toilet but this was sorted promptly. There is no mention on Web details of easy exit because of fire. It is not suitable for elderly people to be climbing out of windows! ( my husband is 72 and disabled)Otherwise we were warm and comfortable. The owner did her very best to look after us.

Bungalow very comfortable for a family of 6 Beds very comfortable Location very good as only 15 minutes walk to town centre
-
"It would have been helpful to have instructions on working the DVD."
The step coming into the bungalow was very high, so people with mobility problems would find this difficult. Maybe a grab handle would help.
-
"We had a very enjoyable stay, great location, well equipped & comfortable accommodation, only a few minutes from shops & beach."
-
"Extremely clean and very comfortable beds, will try to book again later in the year, really enjoyed our holiday thankyou"
-
"We had a lovely few days in Cromer staying at Mayfield Drive."
The bungalow was as described and a real home from home. Nice clean, convenient with everything you require and more. We will be back.
-
"A lovely, comfotable, well equipped bungalow."
We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend. We even got good weather !!
-
"Very satisfied with this property."
Well appointed, very comfortable and clean. Convenient for town yet peaceful location. The only problem we had was how to turn the TV on and off! Didn't appear to be straight forward. We would definitely book again.
-
"Superb location, very peaceful and quiet."
Near to beach with a short cut into town. Good communication with key collection. Everything we needed for our stay was provided and I must comment on the fabulous very large thick fluffy towels which were a luxury. Also thoughtful additions were milk tea and biscuits on arrival.
-
"Lovely property in a quiet close, not too far from the centre of Cromer."
Great enclosed garden, ideal for young children to play safely.
-
"We had a really enjoyable stay and were very pleased with the bungalow."
Only thing that spoilt our stay was the 5pm check in and the 9am departure which is practically a complete day out of our week. We were told this is because the cleaning company need more time for a deep clean; it was clean but wouldn't say it was deep cleaned. However, the host was very helpful when we spoke before our visit and it's a lovely bungalow in a very peaceful location. Would definitely recommend it.

"Bathroom could do with some attention."
-
"We spent half term at the bungalow with family and found it to be very comfortable and well equipped."
We used our own camping chairs in the sunny garden as furniture locked away at present. The property is in a good position, walkable into town centre. We visited The Poppy Line railway, Amazona Zoo, Sheringham and Mundesley beach all close by.
-
"Spotlessly clean compact bungalow in quiet residential area at night."
Just right for two oldies. Beds comfortable and excellent fridge freezer at good low temperature. TV and washing machine a bit complicated. Shame Covid prevented outside furniture but weather was cool for May as it has been throughout the country! Good base for birdwatchers as some reserves not much more than an hour or less away. Recommend Sculthorpe, Cley and Hickling Broad. Titchwell was far too busy even without Covid and that was on a cold, blustery Thursday. Didn’t spend much time in Cromer although pleasant to walk along the front. Would consider using the bungalow again.
-
"Lovely spacious bungalow in quiet area with a well kept enclosed garden."
The bungalow had everything you should need. We did miss having garden furniture but we understand the restrictions of Covid. We had a fab holiday and would definitely return.
-
"Everything was as described, finally just has the lockdown is being lifted."
Had a great time weather was very kind took loads of coats waiting for April showers, which didn't happen would certainly come back if the price was acceptable.

"Mayfield Drive is a wonderful holiday home, very clean and well maintained."
It’s in a great position within Cromer, the town and beach are only a short walk away. It’s the perfect place for a family holiday.

"Mayfield Drive is a lovely holiday cottage and well maintained."
It is located in a good position for visiting Cromer and surrounding areas. We had a comfortable and great stay with warm weather in Cromer. Thanks.

"Bungalow is well equipped and well presented."
Location is perfect for exploring the Norfolk Coast.
-
"The bungalow ticked all the boxes."
Spotlessly clean, spacious, & extremely well equipped & presented. We also appreciated the tea, coffee, milk & biscuits on arrival. The property is close enough to the centre of town & beach for easy reach to walk by the mobile. For the less mobile there is the bonus of being able to park a car (or two) in the drive, something which few rentals in Cromer can offer.. A comprehensive information folder helped to enjoy our stay. Thank you, we shall return.

-

As usual skyes came up trumps.

"Shower was a waste of time bathroom sink has a crack in it garden was over grown when we arrived but grass was cut Monday and weeding was done Tuesday cleaner was still there at 3 pm so had to wait extra 15 mins ( 10 mins for her to have a cigarette in her car ) a packet of opened choc buttons on top of freeze ( which we left there to see how long there there) could do with cushions on sofas."
Out door furniture wonts a good clean
-
