  • "Another fabulous week at Rose Cottage for us and the dogs."

The owner Sally went out of her way to ensure the cottage was spotlessly clean and welcoming before we arrived, and the welcome pack (for humans and dogs) was generous. The large, secure, sunny garden is reassuring for owners of dogs of all sizes, and the area is great for walking, with sections of Thetford forest nearby. Would definitely recommend this place.

thankyou for your lovely feedback. hope to see you all next year Kindest regards Sally x Property Owner

Throw together your best dish in the well-equipped kitchen/diner, a spacious room where you can use all the fantastic amenities for your self-catered meals before enjoying a sociable dinner at the formal dining table, accompanied by your loved ones and lots of wine.

The kitchen leads out to an enclosed garden; read your favourite book on the patio during a warm afternoon, use the shed for bike storage, or open up the gate and enjoy the views out to far-reaching fields.

The ground floor boasts a lovely twin room, where the older kids can enjoy a bit of freedom in the night during a fun sleepover, also on this floor is the family bathroom, benefiting from a spacious bath with an overhead shower so you can take your pick from a long hot soak or quick morning rinse.

The rest of the bedrooms can be found up the traditional steep cottage stairs, another twin, and a master double, all with ample storage, a magnolia colour scheme, and fresh carpets.

When you don't fancy cooking, you can find a fish and chip shop which is a short walk, where you can grab a warm bag of delicious goodness to share out on the dinner table or dine out at the Blue Bell pub and café, offering tasty pub fare, recommended to visit for a tipple and a bite to eat.

Oxborough Hall National Trust building is also close to the cottage for you to visit on a morning walk!
