Situated down a quiet country lane and nestled into the foot of a hill, Flint Cottage enjoys far reaching, south facing views out across the tranquil Norfolk landscape.

Its unique spot allows guests to enjoy the peace and quiet of this beautiful part of Norfolk, on the edge of the Norfolk Broads National Park. Guests can watch wildlife from the windows, or step out of the door onto quiet country lanes and footpaths for walks in the local area. The large kitchen diner is fully equipped for preparing family meals, with electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher.

The dining table comfortably seats 6 guests and enjoys views out across the fields.

The kitchen leads directly into the large living room, with plenty of comfortable sofas and chairs gathered around the original brick fireplace, now home to a convenient clean electric woodburner.

Families and friends have plenty of space to sit together and enjoy games or use the Smart TV. There are three bedrooms within this single-storey cottage, two king-sized doubles and one twin bedroom, although please note that there are small steps up and down from room to room throughout, adding to the character of this Victorian cottage.

One double bedroom benefits from an en-suite shower room, with WC, basin and heated towel rail, while the other has an en-suite WC and basin.

The main bathroom has a fitted bath with overhead shower.

From the living room you can step straight out into a large garden, with furnished patio area and charcoal BBQ.

Beyond the lawn is a ‘wilderness’ area with fruit trees growing and where local wildlife is often spotted by early risers.

Just over the quiet lane in front of the cottage is a large open meadow leading down to a pond, which is a shared space available for holiday guests to enjoy.

This single-storey, family friendly cottage has off-road parking for 2 cars and is just a short drive away from Caister beach, making it the perfect base for families looking to explore the beauty of the Norfolk coast.
