  • "This is the second visit to this property."

It is ideal for us as we have a dog and the proximity to the beach is great. We enjoyed our stay so much we have rebooked for next year. The only critisism I have is the cutlery and crockery. Both are just so cheap and there are so few of them. Oh and the teapot. Please change it for a conventional one.

  • "Don't think the living area had been hoovered prior to our arrival."

The rest of the property was clean though. The extractor fan in the bathroom makes a terrible noise, so we didn't use that. Could do with an empty cupboard in the kitchen for groceries. Front door needs adjusting, as it sticks(noisy opening and closing because of this and were concerned about upsetting the neighbour)Despite these small problems the property was lovely overall. Beautiful views. Quite peaceful. Fantastic walks along the estuary to the beach. Handy local shop and cafe.

  • "The garden was overgrown and not pleasant."

There was no welcome pack, actually there was no foil, clingfilm, kitchen roll, oil or any of those essentials that you find in every other holiday let. The glasses were so poor we had to go out and buy some. The cutlery was child size and the draw would not open and close properly. The buttons on the oven were a nightmare to operate. There was no washing up bowl and the plug did not fit. There was no food waste container for the kitchen. The neighbours blast the horn when they drive past as there are workmen parking outside the property. I think that’s enough for now.

Due to the weather conditions the grass could not be cut but will be to mowed as soon as it is dry. There is always a welcome pack, it contains tea, coffee, sugar, milk, dishwasher and washing machine tablets, toilet roll, kitchen towel soap etc. We don't supply oil, butter or any other cooking products as it is a self catering property. There is also bin liners kitchen caddy lined with special bags that the council requires. When last checked there were ample glasses, wine, tumblers and champagne flutes and the cutlery is of a normal regular size. The oven is not defective, it has a finger touch screen for operating. The finger has to be kept on the button for a few seconds for the oven to respond. Otherwise it would come on and off accidentally all the time Property Owner

The cottage is comfortable and has everything we needed. The location is excellent with footpaths down to the estuary and headland right outside making it super safe for kids and dogs. Aberffraw beach is superb and the village has a shop and excellent cafe. This year there was an ice cream kiosk selling delicious locally made ice cream. This part of Anglesey is so beautiful and incredibly calming. It’s also really hard to spend money there.

Thank you so much. We try our best to give people a lovely holiday. Glad you liked our cottage Property Owner

The exterior of the cottage did not do you any favours We also had to clean up cat poos everywhere to avoid our young dog ,eating them etc Inside, happy with your facilities and location and village lovely.one small thing the teapot has a loose screw on handle which came out And caused a potential problem with hot water etc. Enjoyed the area and the people !!!

We have had difficulty with the gardener who was meant to cut the grass and remove the sky dish. Now we have found someone new and we hope this should solve the problem Property Owner

Lovely location for beach and coastal walks. Just managed to get my large 3008 car in and out of the rear parking space with help from hubby watching the road. This parking space is from the road called Y Fron not Bro Bronwen and the helpful and very friendly neighbours will nicely redirect if you park at the front. Cosy and warm with comfy beds. Well equiped kitchen for two of us (suggest a couple of large glass tumblers and large mugs would be great too). Lovely welcome pack and appreciated hand soap too. Missed a mop when i kicked over the dogs water lol but used a dog towel of mine instead. Instructions on recycling rubbish and welcome book being typed and not handwritten.

We ate nearly every night in the cottage the Kitchen equipment was adequate but could do with updating ie pans and utensils What was upsetting, as we had two children with us, everywhere had a film of white pet fur on it Floors and fridge/freezer even on work tops and window sills The beds were very comfy Family loved the reclining chairs Heating was very efficient The Walk down estuary to sea was lovely Cottage was central to Rhosneigr , Trearddur Bay and Plas Newydd Though weather was bad we managed to get out every day So overall enjoyed our stay in Aberffraw

Dog friendly? Yes, but not got fully enclosed garden, unless you have a large dog that cannot get underneath the fences of front lawned garden, or under the back gate. Comfort: The beds are very comfy, but the sofa has dipped and could do with replacing. But overall, this is a cosy bungalow, and ideal for a family, or two couples with a large dog.

The bathroom was a little small for a tall and broad man like me, but workable. My wife and I loved the reclining three piece suite, it was a lovely way to end the day after a good walk. The property was ideal for dogs as the back and front gardens were secure and had practical wooden floors throughout. We would recommend this property, especially for people who quickly want to access the coastal path

Our 2 dogs loved playing on the beach every day but could have done with a hosepipe to wash off sandy paws to stop them bringing sand into the house. The bed in the main room was very comfy but very noisy every time one of us moved the bed creaked like mad maybe it just needs some screws tightened. Overall an enjoyable week with friendly neighbours.

It is well situated, quiet and a good base for a week of walking and cycling. We had four warm, sunny days and three cold sunny days, which was a real bonus for late March.. the log burner was brilliant on the cold evenings - we had brought a surly of logs, so every evening was toastie. All in all, an excellent place to stay in a lovely part of Anglesey.

  • "Excellent location for all the beaches etc on south Anglesey with easy access to the rest of the island."

A small and compact cottage which is comfortable for 2 adults and 2 children - size of the 2nd bedroom is really too small for a further 2 adults to be comfortable. The heating system was excellent as was the WiFi strength and the SMART TV. The bathroom was good and the “rainforest” shower excellent. Accessing the parking within the property is “challenging” with a bigger car so after the first day we simply parked on the road outside, which was fine. Areas for improvement? The front garden, whilst fenced, has some small gaps under which our small dog was able to escape and bark in next door’s garden. These gaps should be blocked. The door in the master bedroom “scrapes” along the floor which created disturbance on night visits to the loo. The smaller bedroom door squeaks when opened creating a similar effect. Both could & should be easily remedied. We greatly enjoyed our stay - a week of glorious weather - and would certainly stay at this property again.

  • "Booked this due to the location - only a few minutes to the pub & the estuary, from where you can cross the bridge & get to the fab beach."

The off-road parking was a big plus but I'm glad we brought our smaller car (Honda Jazz) as it would have been a bit tight otherwise. The accommodation is spot on & we had everything we needed - having a dishwasher was a big plus but we ended up having to run it half full as there's only enough crockery & cutlery for four people, there is a washer too but this wasn't mentioned in the description. The lounge/diner/kitchen is well laid out & we loved the log-burner, as did our dogs. The bed was a bit soft for me, but you can't please everyone & it was comfortable enough. The walk-in shower in the bathroom/wet-room is fab. We didn't use the front lawn but sat in the sun a couple of times on the south-east facing decking at the back & loved it. Would love to return.

Spacious and very warm. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the kitchen had everything you could ask for to rustle up an evening meal. Locals were very friendly. Location and views were amazing. Great walks locally with our 2 dogs and of course the rest of Anglesey to explore. There a very local art gallery that is amazing and also a local “Cidery” that is worth a visit.
