Trem Ynys (3 bed), translating to ‘Island View’ is a gorgeous holiday home resting in Mynytho, just a short drive from Abersoch, Gwynedd.

Boasting 180-degree sea views with St Tudwals Islands directly in front and views of Porth Neigwl to the right, along with magnificent views of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park across the sea, this does offer the ‘wow factor’.

The property underwent a refurbishment programme in 2023, providing plenty of indoor and outdoor space, perfect for a family holiday or a gathering of friends, with sleeping for a maximum of six guests.

Immerse yourself in the coastal ambiance of this stunning property.

Every corner has been thoughtfully designed to capture the essence of seaside living, with light-filled spaces and a seamless blend of contemporary elegance and coastal charm.

This delightful holiday home has everything you need for a perfect stay, including a fabulous outdoor area, a hot tub and outdoor kitchen with barbecue and pizza oven, and plenty of home comforts inside, including a wood-burning stove and contemporary furnishings.

As you step inside the house, you are greeted with a taste of what is to come, with a beautiful, welcoming hallway.

Then step inside the well-equipped contemporary kitchen where the owner, a keen chef, has made sure that you have everything you need should you wish to cook up a storm in the kitchen rather than visiting one of the amazing restaurants the area has to offer.

Through to the spacious dining area with a large table and views over the garden and countryside, perfect for a lovely home-cooked meal with your loved ones, complete with olive trees with gorgeous twinkly lights to create a wonderful ambience.

From here, make your way to relax in the gorgeous lounge, with plenty of seats for everyone to watch a film on the 4K Smart TV, play board games or relax, taking in the breathtaking panoramic views.

The ground-floor features a king-size bedroom with stunning sea views and a calming coastal design.

Upstairs, a light, spacious landing greets you, benefitting from a large Velux window with incredible views, creating an airy and calm space that leads to a further two bedrooms, a super-king-size and a king-size bedroom, served by an additional shower room.

All windows upstairs offer incredible 180-degree views of the sea, straight out to St Tudwals Islands and Porth Neigwl to the right.

Take advantage of the magnificent outdoor space; a fully enclosed lawn area and decking, enjoy spectacular views of Abersoch, which benefits from the sun all day until the sun sets.

Everything has been thought of to fully make the most of the space and the view, from the hot tub, large outdoor dining table, large L-shape sofa for relaxing, along with two sun loungers and everything you need to cook whether that be barbecues or pizzas, the garden is the social hub on warmer evenings.

When you can tear yourself away from this gorgeous abode, it is perfectly located to enjoy all that this beautiful area has to offer.

The property’s location is wonderful for exploring the Llyn Peninsula, with a wealth of coastal towns, including Pwllheli and Morfa Nefyn, with National Trust sites and properties dotted throughout, such as the glorious Plas Yn Rhiw.

Further afield, you can hike, bike and wander the iconic Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, which is reachable by car.

Whatever the weather, Trem Ynys (3 bed) is a luxurious choice for your next break to the Welsh coast.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £300.

Where you’ll be staying

ABERSOCH

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
