  • "Absolutely fantastic stay at Granar."

Beautiful property, views & facilities. Very well maintained. The best cottage we’ve stayed in, felt very homely. Big plus was the size of the rooms. Images generally show properties to have bigger rooms than reality, this was completely the opposite. The only bit of feedback I’d give to make our stay a little more enjoyable is if there was a games room available. The kids (and adults) would have enjoyed that very much. Would definitely stay again.

  • "What an absolutely fantastic place to stay!"

!! The place is absolutely first class, 12 of us stayed for the weekend to celebrate my wifes 40th birthday, the house is perfect with everything you would need for your stay, the views are absolutely breathtaking, situated in the welsh countryside and only 20 mins away from bala lake where we enjoyed a day of paddleboarding and canoeing, there is a small local shop only 4 mins down the road if you forget any basics, the outdoor pagolla area is well equiped with a large built in BBQ (gas is supplied), a large table and benches and of course the hot tub!, we will be 100% returning, this is a credit to the owners and very well maintained, thankyou for making our stay with you perfect, the hornsby family and friends

  • "The property was wonderful!"

I couldn’t have asked for anything better, it was very well kept and clean. The jacuzzi was cleaned and topped up daily and well as our surrounds. All rooms where very spacious, and with 10 of us in the house we never felt like we where treading on each others toes. The scenery was breath taking, being able to wake up to the that view every morning didn’t get old, and it was sad to have to leave. The owners should be very proud of what they have, thank you so much for making our stay memorable.

  • "Absolutely stunning house in such a beautiful setting."

The views are amazing and the location is very peaceful. The kitchen was fully equipped and had everything we needed, the beds were so comfy and it was lovely and clean. The outdoor space was perfect, we didn’t have the best weather but it didn’t matter as it was under the cover so we still managed to enjoy the facilities. The bathrooms didn’t have any hand towels so will be worth taking your own. We had a lovely stay and would love to return.

This was our second stay at Granar and it's the perfect accommodation for larger groups of family or friends. The hot tub and BBQ area is fabulous too.

  • "A stunning property, in a super location with really responsive & accommodating hosts!"

The property was perfect for our stay with a group of adults & a couple of toddlers, to celebrate a milestone birthday. Loved the hot tub, the views and the undercover barbecue. Location is great with Rhug Farm Shop just down the road and plenty of lovely walks on the doorstep. The only negatives are that the property has an early check out time and you are unable to use the hot tub for the majority of your last full day. However, we understand why this would be the case and knew in advance. We’ll be returning again in the future.

  • "The house is absolutely beautiful and everything is finished to such a high standard."

The setting is stunning and the hosts couldn’t have been more helpful. We were a party of 12 girls celebrating a 40th and the house is great for socialising, dancing and the hot tub and outside area are a real bonus. We will 100% return. It’s also worth noting that the house is part of a complex of 5 houses of varying sizes so perfect to book for a larger group or family. Can’t wait to come back!

  • "We have stayed in Ty Gwyn a few times before, so already had high expectations of Granar."

They were blown out of the water! Such a modern and luxurious feeling place to stay. Plenty of socialising space, which was essential with such a big group like ours - the open plan kitchen and dining room was so practical that we hardly used the second sitting room upstairs. Rooms were clean and well presented, had a fantastic nights sleep as the beds are very comfortable. The views from the massive windows across to the hills are fantastic too, perfect for your morning cup of coffee! We're already planning to book to come and stay again.

Very clean , beds were so comfy and kitchen had all the equipment you needed . The views are just amazing Hot tub was amazing only downfall is you have to take all your own towels which takes up so much room when packing ! It would be nice if they provided towels for the bathrooms and you just had to take a swimming towel , this is a minor thing it wouldn’t stop me going back Definitely recommend anyone to go it’s a fantastic house very modern and lovely bespoke furniture, we would defo go again

  • "We had the most fantastic stay here at Granar."

The house itself exceeding our expectations-it was very high spec and well thought out, a perfect place to be with family/friends. It was very quiet and peaceful and not too far from local attractions etc…the only thing to be aware of when booking is that you can’t walk out anywhere so you do have to drive everywhere. Also, I would suggest to do your research about pubs/restaurants nearby as we struggled with this (not sure if it was covid related or just not a lot around that would let you book) The only other thing that disappointed us was that we had planned our last afternoon to be at the house, in the hot tub and upon our return we found that it had been emptied therefore it was cold. We have never been anywhere before that has done this so we were a little shocked! It would have been good to know this happened before. However, as we have said before everything else was fantastic so definitely don’t be put off by the only negative. The scenery is also incredible and we would 100% recommend this property.
