  • "Wonderful cottage and host"

  • "Nice touch of providing milk and biscuits was very welcome after a long journey."

Very comfortable spaces, the beds in particular. Central location of the cottage and the accessible garage for motorcycle storage was great.

  • "Very enjoyable stay we were pleasantly surprised parking was a slight awkward with 2 cars but we overcame this."

    Would definitely book again.

  • "Lovely comfortable cottage."

Plenty of space for us, 2 adults and 2 dogs. Back garden nice and secure for the dogs. Right in the middle of Bala so able to walk to shops, restaurants and cafes. Lake Bala about an easy 5-10min walk. Parking could be a problem during high season and were aware it may be, however, we parked behind the hairdressers, on the road, a couple of doors down at end of row. The cottage had everything we needed. The TV was a little temperamental but we didn’t really use it. A lovely relaxing few days.

  • "Lovely property with plenty of space."

Fully stocked kitchen, with milk and biscuits provided. Great location to local activities and also a great selection of shops, pubs and restaurants in the town. Only negative is parking as our car was too big for garage… not sure if residents are entitled to parking permits which would have made parking easier.

  • "Great location good restaurants nearby."

Parking was an issue but we knew this when we booked. Found everything we needed. However property needs a little maintenance. Having said that it was definitely value for money for 6 people. Holiday agents were very helpful as we required the beds to be spilt and we required sheets. This request was dealt with quickly.

We did find the door and windows to the conservatory a bit difficult to open and shut and were a bit worried about breaking the glass. Otherwise excellent.

  • "Absolutely loved our little break to Wales."

The cottage is ideally located on a main high street with lovely pubs, shops, butchers & a bakery within walking distance yet inside the cottage it was quiet & peaceful. Bala lake a short walk away, we took the Steam train from the Lake which took about 25 mins and then had some lunch & came back, booked online £40 worth every Penny. Only a short drive away from Llangollen too. The cottage it’s self although a little dated, it was clean and welcoming. The beds were so comfy after a busy day of walking in Wales. The enclosed garden was just perfect as we took our dog with us. Milk in the fridge, tea, coffee & biscuits on arrival we’re a lovely touch too. We’ve never booked & stayed in a rental property like this but we would definitely book again. So much nicer than being squashed into a hotel room.

  • "Great dog friendly cottage with secure garden."

Lovely to sit in the conservatory in the morning and enjoy the sun. Cosy livingroom with logs all set for when the evening gets chilly. Everything you need for a great holiday. Would highly recommend. Only small thing is we wish we had brought our iptv to connect to the TV so we could watch Netflix.

  • "Such a lovely cottage perfectly located to explore north wales!"

Fit 5 of us and a dog in with space to spare, everything you can possibly need is there and the host was fantastic, easy to communicate by text & when I realised I’d left my wash bag, it was back with me in 48hours no charge or questions asked. Would highly recommend a stay here. We’d definitely book again.
