  • "A lovely property we wish more information on heating was supplied as heater in bedroom wasn’t working appeared not to be connected to the Wi-Fi."

Great place and near bus and train station hopefully we will be back .

  • "Property was fine but was advertised as having WiFi which we couldn't access."

There wasn't a contact number for the owners so we contacted Sykes who said they'd get in touch with owner and get back to us.However you never did so we went a week without WiFi.Also for a weeks stay we would've expected more than one towel each, one bin liner, a hairdryer would have been useful.

  • "Could have done with more heating in the lounge Although we should have been able to use Wi-Fi we were unable to log-on having used this facility at other holiday venues successfully."

Even so, the TV was excellent with various stations/programs available.

  • "Property was very clean and comfortable and situated in a beautiful location."

Only recommendation would be for some Pyrex jugs or containers to use when cooking things in the microwave. Really enjoyed our stay and hope to return next year.

  • "We only stayed 3 nights instead of 7 as we needed to cut the holiday short."

The flat has been recently refurbished but the builders have left some snagging issues that need sorting. The oven isn't fixed to the housing so it moves when you pull the handle. There are bare wires above the kitchen wall units, admittedly too high to reach but it doesn't fill you with confidence in the electrical installation. The bathroom window handle came away when I tried to close the window. The box steps by the patio door are not fixed to the wall and can move. The front door catches on the carpet so needs a hefty push. Otherwise all was ok. The flat is in a nice area and only a short walk to the sea front or a short drive to Conwy and Llandudno.

  • "Great apartment and ideal spot for our short break."

Lovely to have a back yard area to let the dogs out. Fantastic location and parking never an issue so would definitely return. Bedroom a little light in mornings.

  • "Mostly fine - but we think the blinds in the bedroom need replacing with curtains - otherwise too much light comes through and it wakes you at 5 a."

    M. Also would be useful to have a hairdryer. [Also no dishcloths]. Nice to be 3 mins from the beach - and comfortable bed and furnishings.

  • "Memorable stay at this excellent property."

We couldn’t have asked for more. Access was very easy for my wife who has mobility issues. The property was extremely clean, and everything looked brand new. Nice welcome pack made us feel at home. Location was good, just a couple of hundred metres from facilities and the water front in Deganwy.

  • "We enjoyed a great week in a part of the UK we've never visited - and Mona House was perfect for our needs."

A bottle of fizz and pack of Welsh cakes made a lovely welcome to walk into, and we found the place to be spacious and comfortable, with all of the essentials that a holiday let should have. The walk into Conwy is great, and perfect to let the pooch burn some energy as it is almost completely enclosed by a fence on one side and the River Conwy estuary on the other, so plenty of opportunity to burn off your breakfast as you head into town. Deganwy is quiet so you'll probably end up heading 5 minutes into Llandudno or Conwy, where you'll find loads of great bars and places to eat - and Mona House is just off the main road to both, so there's no traffic noise to disturb your sleep. Special thanks to the owner for being so understanding after our pooch scratched the door-paint on the last night, and I'm sure it won't be the last time we're booking the place

Treats were a nice gesture. Location for me was great. A bit disappointed that the pictures on Sykes did not match up. Set up previously probably would have had a nicer feel.

Warm and welcoming with everything we needed to hand. The Welsh cakes went down a treat! Location was perfect! If I'd recommend anything, it would be to hang curtains or install blackout blinds. Great communication from the owner. Thank you.

It was very clean and stylish decorated. Then owner text us the key code the day before so easy access. They also left a welcome present, prosecco and Welsh cakes which was a lovely thing to do and very much appreciated

About the location

DEGANWY

Conwy 2 miles; Llandudno 3.5 miles.

The town of Deganwy, on the banks of the River Conwy at the mouth of the Estuary, is a very popular holiday destination. Deganwy has a marina, a small selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, and retains the ruins of Deganwy Castle, built in 1082 but later demolished. There is an abundance of activities to suit all interests on offer in this area; from sea fishing, walking and climbing in the Snowdonia range to enjoying the castles, mines, beaches and gardens of this beautiful stretch of the North Wales Coast. Deganwy is only a few miles from the holiday resorts of Conwy and Llandudno; Conwy boasts a medieval castle, town walls and a marina, plus winding streets which offer something for shoppers and diners alike. Llandudno was very popular during the Victorian era, and this is evident in the architecture and the very impressive promenade. The town also has a pier with family attractions, a theatre and for the more adventurous, a dry ski slope! Between Deganwy, Llandudno and Conwy, this area has so much to offer the entire family.
