  • "A lovely apartment and enjoyed the stay."

But I feel I must raise concerns about the fitting of the oven and hob. There is no isolation switch for them. A legal requirement. Also the hob gets so hot when the oven is on that it is not possible to use the controls. I think this is because the necessary ventilation has not been created under the oven.

  • "The apartment has everything you need for a self catered holiday."

It is spacious for two and the longe is comfortable. The shower works well. The property has a rear decked area which was in need of some TLC but could be made into a lovely feature. The only real negative is the bedroom, the mattress is in dire need of replacement it slopes into the middle and was very uncomfortable for sleeping. The bed linen was poor quality and like sleeping on sand paper. However with a few tweaks it could be a lovely property.

  • "Thanks for letting us give feedback."

The apartment was cold it was August and still cold the wall heater in the lounge would work stuck on WiFi. The bed needs changing the matress is knackered caves in the middle both ended up with back ache and coming home a day early couldn't do another night in that bed. The apartment smells musty all through worst in the bathroom. The was dust on top of the head board thick layer too. Cobwebs everywhere we got the impression the owners don't live near by and the cleaner just doesn't do a good clean. Came to empty the bins and outside at the back all the bins were overflowing. We struggled to wash the pots due to lack of hot water very small boiler we had hot water the first night after that it was cold had to use the kettle for hot water. We had to buy our own sheets from Tesco on the first day due to the 100 percent polyester ones they had on the bed we never used them. When we changed the sheets they was a brown stain on the under sheet which my wife said we need to buy an under sheet so spent most of my first evening at tesco buying bedding. The first thing I would do here is chande the mattress on the bed. They supply cotton sheets or don't supply any and update the advert. Put a new boiler in if you expect peoe to wash up after themselves. You will save on electricity in the end. Have a word with your cleaners and get them to clean properly dust big cobweb on the main light in the bedroom head board and behind the bedside cabinets. I am aware there are air reshners around but now and again open all the windows and doors to let the fresh air in it will make a difference. Do something with the front of the property it looks the worst on the street barring the one opposite as they are rebuilding that. Sorry it was negative feedback but honest. That's why we cannot stay another night it was cold and musty the bed was dreadful so cut short our break by a day. Gareth and Tunde Vincent

  • "This was a great choice for a week's holiday."

Fantastic location and very comfortable flat. Would definitely stay there again. Deganwy is a great base for North Wales with great walking, cycling and climbing nearby. Nice walks to Conwy and Llandudno. The flat is well equipped. We stored bikes in the decked area at the back and the flat was great for our spaniel. Excellent shower and cooking facilities.

Again we had a lovely comfortable holiday . Thank you for the welcome pack it was a lovely treat. The flat is clean and comfortable, it is dog friendly and has a small decking area to sit in , it would benefit from better comfortable seating on the decking . The flat has nearly everything for your stay maybe a hairdryer could be included . The flat is central to lots of places ie llandudno and Conwy, there are some lovely walks and local cafes, pub which we would recommend. We will definitely becoming back and would recommend it .

Nice, clean, comfortable flat. Few minor areas of improvement possible. Outside is not very welcoming. Hall lighting needs a on off switch. Much too bright at night. Sky TV box but no signal. Telephone number for owners contact is out of date

Your Hosts ( Darren and Emma) are very accommodating and will help you when you need, contact them when you need to for help. They will be there for you. Thank you Darren Emma Paul and is dear wife. • "The flat was nice and clean."

Nice touch with the welcome pack. l want to be honest and it is constructive criticism. Kitchen and Bathroom were very cold, could do with some form of heating. The Bedroom was dark the lighting needs to be brighter, maybe an overhead light above the bed would be beneficial. I found reading at night hard due to the lighting. The Lounge was nice and bright the only issue was the heater would not come on, although the one in the Bedroom did, so relied on that to warm up both rooms. There was a smell of dog on the settee and also a strong smell on the carpet in the hallway. Parking was an issue but managed to drive around the bend of the road to park. Good location for Shops and bars. Llandudno only a 10 min drive away. Conway close by and again good shops and eateries.

  • "Just far too small for us."

The kitchen and bathroom were the smallest we have experienced. No ventilated lobby between them either. The worst aspect, however, was the auto light in the rear lobby which shone extremely bright light into the bedroom each time I used the bathroom at night with no apparent override switch. Did try to contact the owner but he didn't return my call. No direct ventilation in the bedroom either.

  • "Mona House is a beautiful stay."

Great location and spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed and comfy sofas. All round great. The only thing I would suggest the owners do is replace the table and chairs out back with something more usable. They are thin and fragile. These didn’t stop us having a great time though.

About the location

DEGANWY

Conwy 2 miles; Llandudno 3.5 miles.

The town of Deganwy, on the banks of the River Conwy at the mouth of the Estuary, is a very popular holiday destination. Deganwy has a marina, a small selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, and retains the ruins of Deganwy Castle, built in 1082 but later demolished. There is an abundance of activities to suit all interests on offer in this area; from sea fishing, walking and climbing in the Snowdonia range to enjoying the castles, mines, beaches and gardens of this beautiful stretch of the North Wales Coast. Deganwy is only a few miles from the holiday resorts of Conwy and Llandudno; Conwy boasts a medieval castle, town walls and a marina, plus winding streets which offer something for shoppers and diners alike. Llandudno was very popular during the Victorian era, and this is evident in the architecture and the very impressive promenade. The town also has a pier with family attractions, a theatre and for the more adventurous, a dry ski slope! Between Deganwy, Llandudno and Conwy, this area has so much to offer the entire family.
