  • "We have just returned from a wonderful time at Riverside Cottage."

We loved our stay in this comfortable and well equipped home. We did both walks in the folder, which were really enjoyable and caught the bus to Caernafon to visit the castle. We cooked most nights and found all that we needed,. There was plenty of hand soap, kitchen roll, washing up liquid and even some food bags and a flask. We appreciated the welcome goodies left for us. It was a delight in the late afternoons to return and sit on the patio watching the river flow by and spotting the dippers. We were very lucky with the weather and found the quilt a bit warm but just removed it and used the quilt cover and a blanket. We did feel that the patio door could do with attention. It didn't run smoothly and was hard to close and lock. We would highly recommend this place.

  • "On arrival at the cottage we were more than happy with our choice ."

The view at the back is wonderful. We had wet weather so couldn’t sit outside but could imagine how perfect a seat on the terrace would be on a sunny day . The kitchen was very well equipped. We did think the addition of an air fryer would be good The wood burner kept us warm and cozy . The bed was very comfortable . The owners have thought of everything you need to make the stay enjoyable. The position of the cottage is ideal, just a five minute walk to the pubs and shops . Riverside is somewhere we definitely want to come back hopefully very soon .

  • "Excellent well equipped cottage."

We had to cook quite a bit as not much is open or offering food in March. Maybe a couple of oven dishes would be a good addition otherwise it’s adequately equipped. No issues at all.

Many thanks for taking the time to write a review. We are delighted that you found this a ‘5 star’ property and we shall certainly add a couple of extra oven dishes. Property Owner
