  • "A beautiful little cottage set in it's own grounds next to the manor house."

Really lovely and peaceful, plenty of parking space and beautiful gardens. The boot room was great for keeping our muddy boots and rucksacks and the kitchen was well equipped, although we ate out every evening as it was so easy to walk into Betws-y-Coed - just a 15 minute stroll. The cottage was clean and comfortable and Jon was extremely helpful when we needed to contact him regarding a small issue (missing tea towels!!) We would definitely book again.

  • "What a wonderful cottage, tucked away from the road and the village, with the sound of the river."

It was quiet and relaxing and exactly what we needed. The "boot room" entrance area was great for keeping all our walking gear. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the main bedroom was a great size for a week's holiday with plenty of storage space. The whole place was clean and well set up for our arrival. The only areas that need improving are some additional comfort features - some throws in the lounge and some cushions and additional blankets for the bedroom - we had to take a duvet off one of the spare beds as we found it suddenly got a lot colder during our stay.

  • "Beaver Grove is a lovely house set in very special grounds with mature specimen trees."

It would have been lovely to have been provided with more information about the trees and gardens. The only thing the house lacked was some soft furnishings and books etc. to give it more of a homely feel. I could not fault the cleanliness of the property when we arrived. It was a great base for exploring the surrounding area and I would definitely recommend to others.

  • "Came last year and loved it so rebooked for this year."

Was really disappointed when we arrived as it didn’t look like it had actually been cleaned from the previous families stay. The kitchen was very dirty, I had to clean the kitchen including some of the internal cupboards. One of the blinds in master bedroom didn’t work. The master bed mattress was so hard and uncomfortable. Such a shame as the cottage itself is beautiful and the setting stunning. Just such a shame it was dirty. Not sure if we will return.

  • "We had a lovely time at Beaver Grove Cottage."

The accommodation was clean and offered everything we needed for a great outdoors holiday. Had the weather been better we would have enjoyed sitting in the beautiful garden overlooking the river with a coffee or a glass of wine. As it was colder we took advantage of the fire. Nike store was very helpful and the location was perfect for accessing the multitude of local attractions. I can see us coming again - it was lovely.

  • "We have really enjoyed the stay, it was lovely place for a family Christmas with a fireplace and big table in the kitchen, fully equipped with everything you need."

Beds were comfortable. Owners put the Christmas tree for us which was lovely gesture. The only recommendation we would have it’s to put some lights on the drive on the entrance to the property as it’s very dark. We used torches when walking at evening. Overall nice place and we would recommend for bookings.

  • "Everything was well thought out and presented."

The only issue was with the arial/reception quality for the TV. It was a little hit and miss when on standard channels (only) but there were no issues when on Netflix etc.
