"This is a lovely well equiped cottage in a great location, we loved the Joules sofa and had a great holiday, taking advantage of the many things recommended by the owner."
However, this cottage is extremely damp and we are surprised it wasnt mentioned by other reviewers. The smell of it was the first thing we noticed when we opened the door on arrival. The furniture was damp to sit on, the bedding and towels felt damp and there was visual evidence of it in every room. We did our best to air the place and had windows and doors open but couldn't irradicate the smell. Unfortunatley everything we took with us, whether we wore it or not, needed to be washed when we got home. This didn't spoil our holiday but did impact on our enjoyment of the cottage a little and is something we feel future visitors should be aware of.

"The cottage is stunning!"
I literally photographed the Joules velvet sofa and added it to my personal wish lift! The cottage has everything you need and much, much more - it’s beautifully renovated and clearly loved by its owners. The beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in and the location was perfect for us. There are so many wonderful places within an easy drive - including Snowdon - which we climbed! Thank you for letting us stay in your home xxx
Thank you so much for the lovely feedback. We are really glad you had a great time. Property Owner

"2 Pant Y Celyn is a beautiful home away from home."
It had a well stocked kitchen with oil, spices, plenty of pots and pans, dishwasher tablet and washing machine pod. There was also milk in the fridge which was much appreciated! It was a perfect base for us to visit our favourite places and explore new destinations too. Finding our keys at the property was easy and very efficient. The cottage was perfectly comfortable for us and our medium sized dog. It is beautifully decorated and a very cosy place to return to after a long walk. We didn't use the summer house as the weather wasn't on our side but it looked like a lovely space to relax. The parking is limited and and only one car is reccomended. The road leading up to the cottage is very narrow - keep this in mind if you've got a big car! We were sent a very informative pack of additional info - I think more of this needs to be included in the cottages description on the Sykes website e.g. check in time is 4pm, not 3pm, garden not secure for dogs, only one parking space available. The cottage is entirely surrounded by sheep fields too so make sure your dog is kept under control. We had a lovely stay and would happily return again, thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us.
Thank you for the kind words, you are welcome back any time of course! Property Owner

"We had a wonderful time at Pant-Y-Celyn, the house was beautifully decorated and clean."
Our sons loved the summer house and enjoyed using the monocular to see the panorama. The kitchen was well equipped and the shower room was spacious. We visited the National Eisteddfod while at the cottage and also went to nearby towns like Pwllheli, Cricieth, Caernarfon, Aberdaron and Porthmadog. Thank you for letting us stay!
Dear Eifion, We’re really pleased you had a great time at the cottage whilst going to the Eisteddfod. It’s great to hear you also got to take in the local attractions nearby as well. Thank you for the lovey feedback. Kind regards Josh Jones Property Owner

Seemed to be jammed.
Dear Warren, Thank you for the feedback, it’s useful to know and we’ve managed to get the blind moving again. Glad you seemed to have had a good stay otherwise. Kind regards Josh Jones Property Owner
