  • "A lovely property which has everything needed for a relaxing holiday."

The white bedding was something else! So white it dazzled. A nice touch for ourselves was being invited to look in on the milking which we enjoyed. I just hope that they soon climb up the Sykes scale of excellence. A mention must be made of the excellence of the welcome pack upon arrival, very much appreciated.

Thankyou very much for leaving the house so clean and tidy. I hope you would like too come over and stay with again. Sara Property Owner

  • "We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay, greatly enhanced by the hospitality and friendliness of our hosts, who were keen to see that our needs were met."

They were readily available if we had any queries. We were very open to the farming environment which made for a very interesting holiday and an in depth understanding of what it means to be a farmer. One of our party was made welcome to assist with milking, which really made his holiday. The property was extremely well equipped (as good as ,if not better than home) with lots of treats for us e.g. farm cheese and milk, Prosecco, chocolate etc. We would like to revisit. A car was needed here but brought the joy of a beatiful view as you tuned into the farm lane.

Im glad you enjoyed your stay with us and cant wait too welcome you back. Thankyou for leaving the cottage clean and tidy. Sara Property Owner

  • "We found the property to be accurately described, very family orientated and spacious."

The location although quite remote was refreshing and the silence was welcomed. Expect farm noises and bustle from the working environment as it is on a working dairy farm, plenty of 'moos' which did not however detract from the holiday. Our children thoroughly enjoyed joining in with farm life and experiencing feeding the newborn calves. This property was great value for the cost, situated in a great part of Snowdonia which enabled us to reach most of the national park well within an hour in each direction. Sara and Sion were both friendly and accommodating hosts, ensuring that we had everything we required to make our holiday relaxing. We would love to return and will recommend to friends.

  • "We had an amazing 5-night stay at Yr Hen Stabl and loved every minute of it!"

The house is spacious, very clean and comfortable, and comes with a well-equipped kitchen. Communication from our hosts was excellent, and we found everyone on the farm to be warm and friendly. The farm cats are real characters too! It was very interesting to watch the milking being done and to appreciate some of the hard work that goes into farming. It's an excellent location for exploring North West Wales and it was just a short drive to Caernarfon, Zip World, and to the Snowdon Railway. Despite it being a working farm we never found the noise of the farm to be intrusive. We would go back in a heart beat!

Thankyou very much! We look forward too seeing you again in the near future. And thankyou also for keeping the house clean and tidy. Is means a lot! Sara Property Owner

  • "We absolutely loved our stay here."

. Sara was very helpful and upfront in communicating before our arrival and throughout our stay. All the rooms are big, so is the bathroom and WC downstairs. The location is nice, lots of attractions within 30 to 60 mins drive. There were two cats too who would keep coming to the property at certain times. My 8yo daughter really enjoyed playing with them. Sara also showed us their barn milking system where the cows are milked, that was a good experience too. Note that its a bit remote location and a car is a must. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend this property.

Thankyou very much! And will hopefully see you again soon. Thankyou Sara Property Owner
